09 IP66 Connection Connection Cover and mounting bracket with silicone
dielectric grease. Covers are specific for each optic.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Read all of these instructions completely before starting installation.
- De-energize the electrical circuit at the circuit breaker and unplug any energy or power source prior to the installation process.
- Do not bend LED strip further than a 150mm diameter.
- Use appropriate and dedicated tooling.
- Do not bend LED strip in the horizontal plane.
INSTALLATION NOTES
- The connection covers are used to provide IP66 protection to the connection point of two sections of L09.
- The silicone dielectric grease used to seal the fixture-to-fixture connection does not harden. Use caution when removing the parts from the packaging.
- If the L09 fixture is installed then removed from the connection cover, new silicone dielectric grease will need to be reapplied to the mounting bracket and cover. Silicone dielectric grease can be purchased online or in a local hardware store.
INSTALLING THE CONNECTOR COVERS

Carefully remove the connection cover and mounting bracket from its packaging and make sure not to disturb the silicone dielectric grease.

Remove the cover from the bracket and set it aside without disturbing the grease.

Place the mounting bracket next to the two sections of L09 that are being connected.

Connect and hold the two sections of L09 together then press them into the mounting bracket so the joint is approximate centewith the bracket. Push all the way down allowing the silicone dielectric grease to spread around the fixtures and out the bottom of the bracket

Position the connection cover over the mounting bracket so the long side of the cover aligns with the short side of the bracket then press the cover over the fixtures and bracket making sure the optic is aligned with the opening on the cover. Silicone dielectric grease should flow out the optic opening,

Screw the mounting bracket in place and wipe up any excess grease
