BABY GALIX BC06 Baby Jumper

Introduction

The baby jumper is designed for а child over 6 months of age able to support its head unaided up to a maximum weight of 12   kg.

WARNINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SAFE USE

  1. WARNING! NEVER LEAVE THE CHILD UNATTENDED!

  2. WARNING! DO NOT USE THE BABY BOUNCER AS A SWING.

  3. Ensure that the child is correctly and safely positioned in the seat of the baby bouncer.

  4. USE the activity centre only if the child meets all of the following requirements:
    – Can sit up unassisted;
    – Over 6 months of age;
    – Weighs less than 12 kg.

  5. Baby should only use this product for a maximum of 20 minutes at a time.

  6. Important! Be aware of the danger of allowing other children to play near the bouncer while your baby uses it.

  7. For indoor use only.

  8. Adult assembly required.

  9. The product needs to be used with caution. When using the baby bouncer without precautions there is a potential risk of injury to the user or third parties. Not to be used by children weighted more than 12 kg.

  10. DO NOT use the activity centre in dangerous conditions or situations. Never use close to staircases, swimming pools, hot surfaces, close to electric cords, curtain cords and sockets or areas, which carry potential risk for your child,. The product may move during use.

  11. FALL HAZARD: DO NOT place the jumper on elevated surfaces. The movements of the child may cause sliding the jumper or tipping over.

  12. Never use close to stairs.

  13. To avoid tipping over place the product on flat and smooth surface.

  14. DO NOT allow children who can stand or walk on their own to use the jumper.

  15. DO NOT move the product when your child is using it.

  16. Do not apply excessive pressure to the plastic base of the seat.

  17. DO NOT tie additional strings or straps to the product.

  18. Risk of strangulation. DO NOT place any objects with string around the child’s neck while it is using the jumper (e.g. pacifier cords). The child should not wear clothes with strings or ties around the neck while using the jumper. DO NOT attach additional strings to the product or its toys.

  19. Before each use check, if there are any damages, broken, torn apart or missing parts.

  20. Do not use the bouncer if there broken or missing parts.

  21. DO NOT add any parts that are different from the supplied ones.

  22. Do not make any changes or improvements on the frame of the bouncer. If there is any damage or missing/ broken parts, contact the shop from which you bought the product.

  23. The dye and raw materials used for producing this product are safe for the human health.

PARTS

Before assembly of the bouncer, take all the parts out of the packing and check if all of the bellow listed are present. Keep the packages until you finish the assembly completely.

ASSEMBLY STEPS

  1. Step 1 – See Figure1: Connect each base tube as shown on the figure. After each connecting you will hear a clicking sound. The base must be shaped as circle.

  2. Step 2 – See Figure2: Connect the stands to the base of the baby jumper. After each connecting you will hear a clicking sound.

  3. Step 3 – See Figure3: Take the plastic base of the seat. Slide the stands’ belts into the corresponding holes of the seat base. Fix them using metal buckles.

  4. Step 4 – See Figure4and5: : Place the seat on the plastic base. The seat can rotate 360° for more fun for the child. Then attach the musical toy to the base and fix it using the plastic pin. Drag the Elephant toy along the rail. To remove it, press the red button and slide the toy out. Place the Ark toy on the base. Fix it with screws.

  5. Step 5 – Placing the batteries – See Figure6: We recommend you to place the batteries in the compartment of the toy before attaching it to the jumper.

    a. Use a screwdriver to remove the screw from the cover of the battery compartment.
    b. Place inside the compartment 2 pcs 1.5V AA alkaline batteries. Follow the polarity marked on the bottom of the cover.
    c. Reattach the cover on top of the compartment and fix it using the screw and screwdriver.

  6. Step 6 – See Figure7: Attach the hanging toys to the decorative fixtures. Finally, install the fixtures to the stands.

MUSIC TOY

  1. The music toy is with several buttons. ON/ OFF – turning on or off; 3 buttons for various melodies.
  2. The music toy works with batteries: 2 pcs AA 1.5V.
  3. When the lights and sounds are low or not active at all, change the batteries with new ones.

RECOMMENDATION AND WARNINGS FOR THE SAFE USE OF THE BATTERIES

  1. Do not allow children to play with the batteries.
  2. 2 Always use new batteries.
  3. Do not mix old batteries with new ones.
  4. Always use batteries from the same type. Do not mix alkaline, standard (Carbon – Zinc), or rechargeable (Nickel – Cadmium) batteries.
  5. Always remove the discharged batteries.
  6. After removing the discharged batteries, throw them away at the designated places, not with the household waste. They are recyclable. Do not throw them in fire. Risk of explosion or leakage.
  7. Always change all the batteries, when removing the discharged one. Children should not be present while you are replacing the batteries.
  8. Always remove the batteries, if you will not use the product for a long period of time.
  9. Do not modify the electric line and do not add any parts to it.
  10. Do not recharge batteries, which are not rechargeable.
  11. If you use rechargeable batteries, firstly remove them from the product and then charge them under adult supervision.
  12. Use only batteries with the size marked on the battery compartment or on the color box.
  13. Alkaline batteries are recommended.

USE

  1. Place the child in the seat. Check the distance between your child’s feet and the floor. Its toes must touch the floor. If the whole foot of your child touches the floor or the toes do not touch it at all, adjust the height of the seat to any of the three positions (first position for the shortest child and the third position for the highest child)
  2. To put the seat in the correct height:
    a. Firstly, take the child out of the jumper. Then turn around the bottom of the seat base so that it is facing you.
    b. Move the buckle of one of the spring belts and place it in the needed position – 1/2/3.
    c. Repeat the steps above to attach and the other 2 spring belts on the same height as the first one.
    d. IMPORTANT! Make sure that all of the 3 spring belts are in the same height position before using the product.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OF THE PRODUCT

A.Cleaning:

  1. Seat Fabric: First you need to remove the fabric from the seat frame. See Figure C where is shown how to remove the fabric. Then clean it with mild water, soft cloth and soap. After that wipe well with clean water and soft cloth in order to remove any soap remains. Leave to dry out naturally. Do not leave the fabric under direct sunlight.
  2. DO NOT wash it in a washing machine and do not use drier, dry cleaner, whitening or tumble drying to clean the pad.
  3. Frame, seat, seat base, belts and toys: wipe them with soft wetted cloth and soap. Then with clean wetted cloth wipe the remains of the cleanser. Wipe dry immediately.
  4. Warning! Do not immerse the electric toys in water.
    Note:
    •Do not store or use the jumper if it hasn’t dried out completely.
    •Do not use strong detergents – bleach, alcohol based ones or such with abrasive particles, to clean the product.
    •DO NOT USE WET WIPES to clean the product.

B. Maintenance:

  1. Check regularly the main parts of the jumper: base, frame, seat and spring belts, for damages, broken or missing parts.
  2. If there are such, stop using the product until the damage is repaired. Contact the shop, from which you bought it.
  3. Do not try to repair the product by yourselves. Contact the shop, from which you bought It or authorized service center.
  4. Clean regularly the product.
  5. Do not leave the product exposed to the harmful effects of the external factors – direct sunlight, rain, snow, wind and dust.
  6. When not using the product, store it in a safe place away from children reach.
  7. Store the jumper in dry and well ventilated place. Keep away from direct heat sources – open fires, heaters and cookers.
