Light Bar Set Up

Stand Installation Free Standing

1. Align the hole of the mounting base with the desired screw hole on the Smart Ambient Light Bar. The centre hole on the Light Bar is used for mounting horizontally. The hole at the base of the Light Bar is used for vertical mounting.
2. Insert the screw into the screw hole and tighten using the supplied Allen key to lock the Light Bar into position.

Stand Installation- Adhesive Mount

1. Please wipe the surface you wish to affix the Light Bar to with a clean dry cloth. We also recommend wiping the back of the Light Bar as well for best results.
2. Using the two stickers provided, remove the backing from one side of the sticker and affix to the rear of the Light Bar. For best results we recommend the following sticker positions.

Remove the backing paper from the other side of the sticker and press firmly against the mounting surface you wish to affix the Light Bar to for a minimum of one minute.

Using the Function Button

App Set Up

Download the Mobile App
You can search Crest Smart in the ioS App Store (Apple) or Google Play Store (Android), or scan the QR code to download Crest Smart App.

Connecting your Light Bar with App

• Please ensure the Light Bar is powered on by plugging in the USB
• power connector and pressing the function button once.
• Please ensure you have enabled Bluetooth for the App on your device.
• Your device will also need to be on a WIFI network to complete set up.
• The Light Bar must be flashing to connect to the App.

Step 1: Press and hold the Function Button on the Light Bar for 5+ seconds to begin connection. When ready to pair the Light Bar will flash .
Step 2: Open the Crest Smart App and select ‘Add Device’. The App will then discover the Light Bar to allow you to select it and add it.

Step 3: Please select + on the next screen and then press the plus on the following screen in the App.

Step 4: You will be prompted to either allow the App to identify local WIFI networks or you can add the name of your WIFI network manually. Please enter your WIFI password.

Step 5: Connection will now begin. Once it is complete you will get a message that the Light Bar has paired successfully.
Step 6: You are now ready to use your Smart Light Bar with the Crest Smart App.

Pre-set Lighting Modes
There are pre-set lighting modes which fall into 3 categories. Pre-set liahtina modes do not respond to sound.

1. Quiet Film, Dating, Sunset and Christmas
2. Active: Romantic, Colourful, Dynamic and Dream
3. Romantic: Rainbow and Flowing Water

Pre-set Music Modes
There are 4 different pre-set music modes available. When in music mode the Light Bar will respond to sound and change colours accordingly. Please note, you can edit the sensitivity, the speed and the music detection style for best results.

1. Rhythm
2. Roll
3. Energy
4. Spectrum

Customised Modes
You can program your own custom lighting scenes. There are multiple light modes you can customise. You can then name and save your own custom scene.

Timer

1. To use the timer, press the following symbol Eon the App.
2. Select Timer’ from the available list of options.
3. You can then set how long you would like the light to run for. t will automatically switch off after the countdown is complete.

Scheduling

1. To use scheduling., press the folowing symbol on the App.
2. Select’Schedule’ from the available list of options.
3. Select ‘Add’.
4. Select the time of day and days of the week.
5. Press the ‘ON/OFF’ button and select ‘ON’, then press confirm and save. This creates a scheduled ‘switch on’ time.
6. To also include an ‘OFF° time, please add a new schedule and follow steps 1-4. However, please press the ‘ON/OFF button on the App and select OFF, then press confirm and save.

Please note: if you wish to have different schedules on different days you will need to add multiple schedules with the App.
