TECHNICAL DATA

HOW TO USE?

The smoke detector functions through the dispersal of infrared radiation in the smoke that develops in the initial phase of the fire. It consists of a photoelectric system that processes the signals from the infrared radiation. The infrared radiation spreads out over the surface of the smoke when the smoke comes in the smoke detector. The photoelectric diode receives the dispersed radiation and activates the photoelectric current, which starts the alarm signal.

INSTALLATION

  1. Remove the mounting plate on the back of the smoke detector and insert a 9 V battery.
  2. Press the test button for a few seconds to start the alarm.
  3. Release the button when you hear the alarm it sounds two or three times and then stops automatically.
  4. This shows that the smoke detector is working.
  5. Install the smoke detector in a suitable place with the two supplied screws e.g. one the ceiling.
