How the appliance works
Inside the air purifier, there is a fan (ventilator) which draws the air in the room into the appliance and then through a high-quality filter. The filter cleans the air of particles such as house dust, pollen, fungal spores, smoke etc., so that the amount of these particles in the air is reduced. In addition, the activated carbon filter contained in the filter ensures that odours in the air are neutralised or reduced. The appliance has a timer function for automatic switch-off and a sleep mode for silent fan operation during the night. The additional ion function allows efficient removal of dirt particles in the air, thus improving indoor air quality.
Ion function
The ion function is used to electrically charge ionise particles (atoms or molecules) contained in the air in the air purifier. These ions are then released into the room air via the fan. As a result, airborne ions and particles with different charges stick together. These particles sink more easily and can therefore no longer float around in the room air.
Air quality indicator illuminated ring
There is an illuminated ring w on the appliance’s control panel 1, which uses
different colours to indicate the amount of dirt particles in the room air.
Depending on the quality of the room air, the illuminated ring w lights up in
one of the following colours
