Product Information

The TFC-200 is a cleaning system designed for HVAC and facility maintenance. It is equipped with a dip tube for chemical siphoning, a spray gun with quick connect fittings, and a water inlet for connecting a water hose. The system also includes a GCFI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) for electrical safety.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Raise the dip tube by locking/unlocking the collar as needed.
  2. Securely insert the chemical container and strap it in place. Lower the dip tube.
  3. Connect the blue chemical hose to the quick connect output onthe back of the unit.
  4. Connect the spray gun to the female quick connect on the unit.
  5. Attach a water hose to the water inlet on the spray gun.
  6. Turn on the water supply.
  7. Pull the trigger on the spray gun until water starts coming out. Choose the appropriate nozzle based on the nozzle chart.
  8. Connect the GCFI to an outlet and test/reset it to ensureproper functioning.
  9. Pre-rinse the tower fill by applying chemicals for at least onehour.
  10. Rinse the tower fill with water.
  11. Follow shutdown procedures as outlined in the operator’s manual.

  1. Raise dip tube for chemical siphoning. Lock/ unlock collar as needed.
  2. Insert chemical container & strap in securely. Lower the dip tube.
  3. Connect blue chemical hose to quick connect output on the back of the unit, then connect thespray gun to female quick connect.
  4. Connect water hose to water inlet on the spray gun. Turn on water supply.

  6. Connect GCFI to outlet, test and reset to ensure it’s functioning

PRE-RINSING TOWER FILL

Attach pre-rinse nozzle to spray gun (refer to nozzle chart). Rotate ball valve lever to RINSE setting. Flip toggle switch to RINSE/ MIX to turn on unit. To turn off, toggle switch up to center position.

  • Thoroughly rinse tower fill.

CHEMICAL APPLICATION

Attach chemical nozzle to spray gun (refer to
nozzle chart). Rotate ball valve lever to CHEMICAL
setting. Flip toggle switch to CHEMICAL to turn
on unit. To turn off, toggle switch down to
center position.

  • Thoroughly apply chemical to tower fill.
  • IMPORTANT: ALLOW CHEMICAL TO DWELL ON TOWER FILL FOR AT LEAST ONE HOUR.

RINSE APPLICATION

Attach large black rinse nozzle to spray gun (refer to nozzle chart). Rotate ball valve lever to RINSE setting. Flip toggle switch to RINSE/MIX to turn on unit. To turn off, toggle switch up to center position.

  • Aggressively rinse tower till until chemical is thoroughly washed away.
  • Repeat Steps 1-3, if desired, for a better clean.

SHUTDOWN

After use, raise dip tube and place cap on chemical container before unstrapping and removing from rear compartment.
CAUTION: Do not travel with chemical container inside unit! Run clean water through the unit from both the water intake and a clean  bucket of water through the dip tube to rinse internal components. Neutralize cooling tower water by adding one 25 pound pail of Goodway Scalebreak Neutralizer per each 5 gallon container of ScaleBreak-Gel™ to the water in the basin to achieve a neutral pH. Refer to Operation Manual for more detailed instructions.
