CAUTIONS

To avoid personal injury and/or possible product damage, the following cautions must be followed:

1. Please use sorely the provided adapter instead of others in case of any damage to the product.
2. Keep out of reach of children. This product contains small magnets and other small parts, which can cause choking or injury if ingested.
3. To prevent early failure,the camera should only be installed in operating environments ranging between 20°C 50°C(-4°F – 122°F).

Set up Spotlight Cam in the AiDot App

1. Scan the QR code below
   Or search for”AiDot” in App Store or Google Play.

2. Power on the camera, you will hear “Waiting for Wi-Fi configuration” with the camera’s indicator light flashing in blue.

3. Make sure your smart phone is connected to the same WiFi network as the camera.
   Tips : The camera supports dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi networks, so you can choose the channel with the stronger signal to use.
   For example, choose your SSID: XXXXX_2.4G or XXXXX_5G.

4. After logging into AiDot app, press’+- “devices”, select Winees Spotlight Cam, and follow the instructions on App.

5. Add devices following APP guidance.
   Note: If the process of adding a camera fails, please reset your camera and try adding again according to the above method.

6. Place the spotlight cam in the area where you plan to install to test the video quality, ensure that the camera can work normally after the final installation.

Hardware Installation

Point the camera at the desired location and use the screws provided to mount it.
For the best product experience, we suggested installation height of Spotlight camera: 2.2m (7.22 feet), camera downward tilt angle 30.

Please Note:
Ensure that rain or water will not reach the connector ports at the end of the pig tail wiring. These connectors are not weather-resistant.

TroubleShooting

• If the default adding camera operation fails?

  • Make sure your wireless router has the Internet access, and the Wi-Fi signal at the location where you install the camera is good.
  • Make sure the camera is plugged in and the status LED is on or flashing.
  • Reset the camera if the LED is NOT flashing blue. Then follow the App to add it.
  • Make sure the camera is not added to other user’s account. If it is, the owner of the camera has to unbind it first
  • When this step is done, the camera should be added to your account.

• Why doesn’t the device identify the SD card?

  • Please insert the SD card before camera powered on. And make sure whether SD card is good and FAT32 format or not.

• The time of the camera video stamp is not right?

  • Please set the right time zone in the settings.

• Why Can’t l receive the push message notification by phone APP?

  • Please confirm that the APP has been running well on the phone, and relevant reminder function has been opened, such as message notifica- tion and authority confirmation in the phone system.

• How long can a Micro SD card (not included) of different capacity record?

• How to change device network to another router?

  • Remove the device on the APP and configure the device again.

• How do ladd a device or connect it to the network?
  Before you start adding devices, note the following:

  • Ensure that the device is turned on and the blue light is blinking.
  • Ensure that the network connection is work. Please connect the mobile phone to a stable Wi-Fi connection, and use the mobile phone’s system browser to visit the website and check whether the network connection is fluent.
  • Ensure that the mobile phone and the device are on the same 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi network.
  • Place the device near the router.
  • Restart the router.

Please note that the App needs access to the phone’s Wi-Fi information during the device addition process. Due to privacy restrictions on Android and iOS, accessing Wi-Fi information also requires the phone’s location/location permission. Please agree to grant permissions. If you refuse to grant location permission, you can reauthorize it by: IOS users: System Settings > Smart Life

Location > Select “Use when”

Android users: System Settings Application Settings
Application Management > Intelligent Life Permissions Open “Location”
