Introduction

The PeakTech 3127 is a compact universal switching power supply with an adjustable DC output voltage of 3V, 4.5V, 5V, 6V, 7.5V, 9V or 12 V with an output power of max. 1500mA. This practical power supply includes various jack and barrel plugs as well as a USB socket for use with various small office devices, mobile phones or audio and video equipment. The device complies with the current ecodesign directive of the European Union, which ensures high energy efficiency and low stand-by consumption. The device safety is guaranteed by the applied safety standards of the low voltage directive, whereby this device is short-circuit proof and also has an automatic overload protection.PeakTech 3127 A Universal Power Adapter fig

Application

  1. Voltage: Set the desired output voltage with the yellow voltage selector switch on the back of the device. There is a suitable key for this selector in the accessories.

  2. Current: Before use, check whether the 1500 mA of the P 3127 A is sufficient for your load. Use the rating plate or instructions from the load for this.
Polarity: Check the polarity of your load (+ or -). You will probably find information about the polarity of the load in the instructions or on the rating plate of the load.
Note: The positive polarity (left) is usually the desired standard settingPeakTech 3127 A Universal Power Adapter fig 2

  3. Output connector: Select the required jack or barrel connector and connect it to the supply output of the P 3127 A. There is an arrow on the connection socket on the connection cable. Connect this with the corresponding arrow for positive or negative polarity of the connector:PeakTech 3127 A Universal Power Adapter fig 3

  4. Mains input: Now connect the plug-in power supply to a socket with a mains voltage of 100 to 240 V AC.

  5. ATTENTION: If the connected load does not work properly, remove the plug-in power supply and check the set output voltage and polarity.

  6. Remove the device after use.

NOTE: When operating a load with the USB adapter (FUSB1), the voltage selector switch should be set to the typical USB supply voltage of 5 V. The USB adapter can only be plugged in with the correct polarity.
