Power On/Off

Power On: Start your car and plug BH477 into car’s cigarette lighter. It will turn on after being electrified, and its screen will turn on automatically and flash once per second. If it’s in power-off state while being electrified, long press CH button for is to turn it on.

Power Off: Cut its power to turn it off. When it’s in power-on state, Iong press CH button for 2s to turn it off.

Note: When BH477 is turned off by long pressing CH button for 2s, its charging ports are still available for charging.

Screen Display

1. After power on, the screen will flash bt .
2. After successful pairing, the screen will display bt and light on constantly.
3. Short press CH button to enter FM tuning mode, and the screen will display frequency.

FM Tuning and Bluetooth Connection

Attention: When using for the first time, you need to adjust the blank FM frequency of BH477 to be the same as that of your car (Not a frequency of local broadcast/A frequency without any broadcast/A frequency only with white noise). For seeking a better sound enjoyment, please make sure that the blank FM frequencies of BH477 and your car are the same when every time you use the product (Not a frequency of local broadcast/A frequency without any broadcast/A frequency only with white noise).

1. Adjust your car’s FM radio to a blank frequency (A frequency without any broadcast/A frequency only with white noise), such as FM88.8.

2. Short press CH button to enter FM tuning mode, and the frequency on the screen will flash. Then toggle the Multifunctional Button to adjust the frequency. Toggle it Right to increase frequency and toggle it Left to decrease the frequency. Adjust the frequency to be the same as , that of your car’s radio, such as FM88.8. Short press CH button again or wait for 3s to exit from the tuning mode.
   

3. Bluetooth Connection
   A. BH477 will display the current voltage of your car battery on the screen after power on. Then it enters into bt state (pairing state) after 2 s and waits for pairing.
   B. Turn on the Bluetooth of your smart device and search “BH477” and con-nect to it. The screen will display bt and light on constantly after successful connection. Now you can play music via Bluetooth. Generally speaking, they will pair up automatically for connection, but it also needs you to enter password sometimes, such as prompt-please enter original password “0000”. (When used again, BH477 will reconnect the last-connected device.)

C. Turn up your phone’s volume appro-priately. (When used again, BH477 will recon-nect the last-connected device.)

Bluetooth Hands-free Function

1. Answer a Phone Call: Short press “ ” button.
2. Hang Up a Phone Call: Short press “ ” button.
3. Redial Last Phone Number: Double press “ ” button.
4. Reject a Phone Call: Long press “ ” button.
5. Switch Phone Call to Private: Long press “ ” button for 2s on the phone.

Music Function

(Please ensure the successful FM tun-ing before using this function)

Bluetooth/U Disk – 2 Music Sources

A.Bluetooth Mode: After your smart device (eg. Phone) is connected to BH477’s Bluetooth successfully, the music will be synchronized to your car speaker if you play music on your phone.

B. U Disk Mode: Plug U disk into product’s port, and it will automatically recognize the device and play the music in it.

Important Note: For better user experience, please choose only one source to play music when every time you use the product.

Music Sound Effect

Deep Bass Enhancement: Short press b button to enable b1 bass surround-ing sound effect, and it will enhance the sound effect of surrounding deep bass. Suitable for dance music, al, RAP and some deep-bass songs. (Please choose b0 sound effect for soft music. Short press b button to restore)

Audio Source Selection

A. Use between Bluetooth and U Disk: It’s by default to recognize U Disk first and play the music in it.
B. Auto Play via U Disk: Plug and Play. (Only support “Repeat All”, not support “Repeat One” or “Shuffle”)
C. In Bluetooth mode, you need to play music by manually entering music software after power cut or rebooting. In U disk mode, it will automati-cally replay the song that is played before power cut.

Music Playing Operation

A. Play/Pause: Short press “ “.
B. Previous Track: Toggle “ ” to the left to play previous track.
C. Next Track: Toggle “ ” to the right to play next track.
D. Volume Up: Toggle “ ” upward to increase volume.
E. Volume Down: Toggle “ ” downward to decrease volume.

Voice Assistant

1. Long press “ ” button for 2s to activate voice assistant.
2. Short press “ ” button to exit from voice assistant.

Friendly Tips:
If you’re going to use your voice to wake up the voice assistant directly and your smart phone is Android system, please turn up BH477’s and phone’s volume to their maximum level, and the car speaker’s volume can be adjusted according to your own preference. The operation steps of waking up Siri on iPhone are shown as follows

A. Turn on Siri settings on your phone.

B. Complete the voice recognition according to Siri instructions.

C. Use Siri function direct on your phone.

Note: Some phone brands don’t support this function (Support Phone Brands: iPhone, Samsung Phones, Original Android Phones)

Charging Description

QC3.0 Quick Charge Port Description

A. For some devices that don’t support QC3.0 quick charge, the maximum output is 5V/2.4A.
B. For some devices that support QC3.0 quick charge and meet QC3.0 quick charge protocol, its output is DC 5V/3A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A.

Type-C Quick Charge Port Description

A. For some devices that don’t support PD quick charge, the maximum output is 5V/2.4A.
B. For some devices that support PD quick charge and meet PD 18W quick charge protocol, the output is DC 5V/3A, 9V/2A,12V/1.5A (Please use C to C or C to Lighting data cable).

Note

1. Do not turn up your radio’s volume too loud in case of increasing its back-ground noise.
2. To ensure the best sound effect, please try to avoid adjusting to the frequency of local radio station with strong signal.
3. Do not use the product in too hot/cold, dusty or damp environment.
4. Do not break or throw the product to prevent surface or unit damage.
5. Do not disassemble the product personally. Please contact the seller if you have any questions or problems.

FAQs

Noise Problems

Solutions:

A. Turn down speaker’s volume to its 1/3 level and turn up the volume of your smart device.
B. Signal interference. Please switch to another blank frequency.
C. Re-plug the product and restore it to original state to work.

You can’t be heard on the Phone

Reason 1: The calling method goes wrong.

Solutions: A. Click BH477’s Multifunctional Button to answer the call via car speaker. B. Turn on the phone speaker to answer the call.

Reason 2: The calling volume is too low.

A. Turn up your phone’s volume.
B. The volume of other end on the phone is too low, ask the other end to speak up.

Reason 3: The microphone is broken
Solution: Contact the customer service for help.
