Introduction
To assist spread heat across your environment, the portable heater incorporates a fan-forced design. During the warmer months, you can utilize the fan-only mode to stay cool. The portable heater fan revolves while in use thanks to an oscillation function, which distributes heat more evenly and uniformly. You can rapidly regulate the thermostat and switch between the unit’s two heat settings thanks to straightforward, accessible control knobs. Because of its small size and low weight, the personal heater is easy to transport from room to room while you go about your daily activities. Added safety is provided by features like stay-cool housing, a molded handle, a tip- over cutoff switch, and an overheat protection system.

USAGE:
HEATER OPERATION: Always operate the heater in the upright position following all instructions and recommendations listed in this manual HEATER LOCATION: Place the heater in the area of the room that is coldest. HEATER CONNECTION: Plug heater directly into 120 volt A.C., 60 Hz wall outlet. Be sure plug fits tightly in outlet. A loose connection may cause overheating and damage to the plug or heater. NOTE: To prevent overloading a circuit, do not plug the heater into a circuit that is servicing other electrical needs.
TURNING HEATER ON: To start the heater, turn the On/Off Power Level Control from the OFF position to the LOW or HIGH setting. Then rotate the Thermostat Control clockwise to the HIGH THERMOSTAT position as described below. (During the heaters initial use, you may experience a slight odor or smoking. This is the result of the heating element lubrication “burning off”. This is normal and will go away after a few minutes of use).
POWER LEVEL SWITCH: This heater has two heat settings: High and Low. Use the higher setting (1500 watt) to raise the room temperature quickly. When the desired temperature is reached use the Low setting (750 watt). It is usually sufficient to maintain a comfortable temperature.
SETTING THERMOSTAT : After heater has been turned on and the room has reached the desired temperature, slowly rotate the Thermostat Control counter- clockwise until the heater shuts off (you should hear a faint “click”). By leaving the thermostat at this setting it will automatically maintain this temperature. To lower temperature, rotate the knob further counter-clockwise (towards the LOW position). To raise the temperature, rotate the Thermostat Control clockwise (towards the HIGH position).
TURNING OFF: To discontinue use, turn the Power Switch to the OFF position. Always turn the heater OFF before unplugging or plugging in the heater. Heater should be unplugged when not in use.
OSCILLATION CONTROL: You can control the Oscillation feature on the Heater/Fan by moving the Oscillation Control switch located on the control panel of the heater to the SWING position or the OFF position.
TO OPERATE FAN ONLY: Turn the On/Off Power Level Control dial to the Fan setting. Turn thermostat fully clockwise so the fan will run continuously. Oscillation will function while in fan mode.
IMPORTANT SAFETY FEATURES
The power indicator light, located above the control panel, lights whenever the heater/fan is plugged in to tell you that the heater has power. The heater is equipped with an automatic overheat protection device located inside the body of the heater. If the heater grill is obstructed, or if the heater gets too hot for any reason, the automatic overheat protection device will turn the heater off. To reset the heater, simply turn power off and unplug the heater for 10 minutes until it cools down and you may plug the heater in and restart the heater. Be sure that the heater is on a smooth level surface with no obstructions. The heater is also equipped with a safety tip-over switch to turn power off to the heater when the heater tips over. To resume heater functions simply stand heater upright. With tip over protection, the heater will only operate when placed upright on a level surface.

no battery.
Should the fan run the same speed on all three settings? Mine slows on low and slows even more on high.****
I have bought three of these because of how outstanding they have been. None of mine slow the fan, it runs the same on every setting. The other type of comfort zone I tried did vary depending on the setting, but these white ones never. If yours is I suggest returning for replacement.

What is the source of the heat? (infrared, ceramic, quartz, etc.)****
This heater uses a coiled wire heating element with fan-forced heat.

Excellent with very few drawbacks, the Comfort Zone Oscillating Digital Tower is a space heater. Even without turning on the oscillator, it gives amazing heating performance and provides excellent heat distribution. It is an excellent choice to place beneath a desk due to its tiny size.
Why does the space heater in my comfort zone continually cutting out?****
Your space heater may also abruptly turn off multiple times if the air filter is dusty or clogged. A dust or debris-clogged air filter will release a pretty noxious or unpleasant odor. The smell is the first obvious indication that it’s time to clean your air filter.
Why isn’t the fan in my comfort zone working?****
It’s possible that there’s loose wiring if the fan doesn’t seem to turn on. Dropping or improper handling of the fan can lead to loose wiring, which can harm the internal wire connections. You will need to reconnect either of the two exposed wires if it appears that they have been detached or loose.

Why does a fan malfunction after a while?****
When the fan capacitor fails, a fan frequently stops operating at all speeds. The capacitor aids in the blades’ acceleration, deceleration, and starting. Without a working capacitor, the fan might still run, but it won’t be able to change speeds.
