  • HEATER LOCATION : Place the heater in the area of the room that is coldest. Do not locate against walls or behind drapes or furniture.
  • HEATER CONNECTION : Plug heater directly into 120 VoltAC, 60Hz wall outlet. Be sure plug fits tightly in outlet. A loose connection may cause overheating and damage to the plug or heater.

NOTE : To prevent overloading a circuit, do not plug the heater into a circuit that is servicing other electrical needs.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Plug the power cord into a wall outlet (120V AC, 60Hz). Connect heater to properly grounded outlets only. Power Indicator Light will be illuminated and the unit will be in its standby state. In this state, “- -” is shown on the display and indicates that the unit is on but not heating.

NOTE : During the heater’s initial use, you may experience a slight odor or smoking. This is the result of the heating element lubrication “burning off”. This is normal and will go away after a few minutes of use.

NOTE : Heater will function in the Low or High heat setting independently of the thermostat, when the thermostat is set to
“00C” or “00F”.

NOTE : The temperature value displayed in both heat settings is the current ambient temperature.

TEMPERATURE UNITS:

NOTE: When the ambient air temperature is equal to or below the thermostat set point, the heater will automatically turn on. If the ambient air temperature is greater than the thermostat set point, the heater will turn off – in this state, the Power and Temperature Indicator Lights will remain illuminated and the ambient temperature will be displayed.

This is indicated by the illumination of the Timer Indicator Light and by a flashing “00H” on the display. At this time, press the UP/DOWN buttons to set the length of time for the heater to run. To turn the timer off, select the timer option using the MODE button and adjust the time displayed to “00H”.

NOTE: When the timer has reached its setting, the timer indicator light will turn off and the heater will automatically turn off, returning to the standby state.

USING THE THERMOSTAT AND TIMER AT THE SAME TIME:
It is possible to have both the thermostat and timer active at the same time. To do so, follow the instructions under “Setting the Thermostat”. Once the desired temperature has been reached, press the MODE button once to select the timer option and follow the instructions under “Setting the Timer”.
