SAFETY DIRECTIONS

  1. This appliance can be used by children persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way understand the hazards involved.
  2. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  3. Children shall not play with the appliance.
  4. Children being supervised not to play with appliance.
  5. This appliance is only to be used for household purposes and only for the purpose it is made for. The device is suitable and intended for measuring the weight of food.
  6. This appliance is intended for indoor use only.
  7. Failure to maintain the scale in a clean condition could lead to damage of the surface that could adversely affect the life of the appliance and possibly result in a hazardous situation. Such damages are not included in the warranty.
  8. If your device will not be used for a long time, store the device in a dry and dark place and remove the batteries.
  9. Do not use the device for any purpose other than that for which it was intended.
  10. Do not disassemble, repair, or modify the device.
  11. Do not use other battery types in the Kitchen scale. Do not insert batteries in the opposite polarity.
  12. Replace used batteries with new ones when necessary.
  13. Never dispose of batteries in a fire.
  14. If liquid from the battery spills on your skin or clothing, immediately flush the area with plenty of clean water.
  15. During extended periods of non-use, always remove the battery from the battery compartment (approximately 3 months or more).
  16. Do not use different types of batteries or mix new and used batteries together.

BATTERY INSTALLATION

  • This device applies an eco-friendly design and has very low power consumption.

  • Insert or replace the battery, open the battery compartment located underneath the unit.

  • When inserting the battery, always observe the correct polarity.

  • The symbol(+) must face upwards

  • Use 2XAAA battery.

  • The symbol appears if the battery needs replacing.

  • Auto switch-off occurs if display shows”LO”.

  • During extended periods of non-use, always remove the battery from the battery compartment.

OPERATION

  • Put the scales on a firm and level surface.
    OPERATION

  • Weigh recipe ingredients, place a suitable bowl or container on the Platform.Solid ingredients may be put directly onto the scale.

  • Press and release , button, wait until display shows ”0”.

  • Press the appropriate key to convert between grams(gm) and ounces(oz).
    OPERATION

  • To allow for any additional weight,always make sure to position any accessories(bowl etc.) on the platform before the unit is switched on.

  • Add the ingredients to the bowl (or other accessory) used, until the desired weight is displayed.

  • To add more ingredients without first emptying the container,the Tare-key may be pressed again.
    In this way,only the additional weight is displayed.

  • After using,the scales may be switched off by holding down the key.

  • However,the unit will switch off automatically if no key is pressed within a 60 second period.

CLEANING AND CARE

  1. Wipe the kitchen scale with kitchen roil, absorbent paper toweling or a soft cloth.
  2. Do not immerse the scale into water.
  3. Place the device in an area away from direct sunlight, heating equipment, high humidity, or extreme temperature changes.
  4. Remove the batteries if the Scale will not be used for an extended period of time.
  5. If the Scale does not work, check the battery contact. Replace the batteries.
  6.  The device is intended for personal use only and is not suitable for commercial and medical purposes.

TRANSPORT I SERVICE

CAUTION
Pay attention not to run down the device. If you run down the device during operation, firstly unplug it. Some parts may be broken and device may be damaged during falling, in this case, have device checked by authorized service before operation.

WARNING
Handling and transportation. It is required to perform transportation of device in its own original box. Plastic parts may be broken during Incorrect packaging. Its electrical parts may be damaged.
This device must be grounded.
Unplug It while It is operating for transport, maintenance or repair purposes

DISPOSAL OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT

The batteries in this product should not be disposed of with household waste. Be sure to dispose of old batteries in special places for disposal of used batteries that are found in all retail shops where you can buy batteries.
