Product Information

This series of power amplifiers from Layvikay adopts a special circuit design that focuses on product stability under conditions of long-term continuous use at full power. The PCB board uses double-sided wiring through-hole technology, which reduces false welding of internal components during transportation and overcurrent damage when working on full power for a long time. The circuit layout, designed by the computer simulation system, allows the amplifier to have over 110dB SNR, meeting the requirements for touring sound applications. It has high efficiency with high power output and a damping factor of up to 400 or more, resulting in strong and elastic sound.

Product Usage Instructions

Read and keep the user manual for future reference.
Follow all safety instructions and warnings provided.
Do not use the amplifier near water.
Clean the amplifier only with a dry cloth.
Ensure proper ventilation by not blocking any ventilation openings.
Do not install the amplifier near heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, or stoves.
Do not modify or defeat the safety features of the polarized or grounding-type plug.
If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement.
Do not expose the amplifier to rain or moisture to reduce the risk of fire or electric shock.

Connecting the Needle Socket Division

XLR type connecting socket should be wired as follows:

Pin 1: Ground
Pin 2: Hot (+)
Pin 3: Cold (-)

Note: Although this equipment has complete protection for short-circuit and overload, try to avoid short circuit and overload for output to ensure long- term normal operation.

Front Panel Controls and Functions

POWER ON/OFF: Use this switch to turn the amplifier on or off.
POWER INDICATOR: When the power is turned on, the indicator will blink repeatedly for 3-5 seconds as a protection mechanism. If the amplifier is inspecting before starting up or if there are any issues, no sound will be output from the speakers. Once the inspection is complete or problems are resolved, the light will be fully lit, indicating normal operation.
SIGNAL LEDS: These LEDs indicate the presence and strength of the input signal.
INPUT ATTENUATORS: Use these controls to adjust the input signal level.
CLIP LED: This LED indicates when the output signal is clipping or distorting.
THE EXHAUST HOLE: This hole allows for proper ventilation and cooling of the amplifier.

Adopt an optimized cooling system and high quality cooling fan to ensure stability on long time working at high power.
Fan can speed up automatically by variations of temperature in the machine, (when connected with the load impedance is too low or the temperature is too high, the machine will automatically adjust the power supply to reduce the internal resistance. This function is only used on 5 + or above.), can improve the sound quality and protect the machine effectively, and highly improved reliability.
Low distortion, high slew rate, more perfect sound quality and higher resolution.
Dual-channel, can be bridged connected. Fan can speed up automatically by variations of temperature in the machine. Start up delay, overload, short circuit, overtemperature, load short-circuit protection. Limiting control. Independent input control.

Explanation of Graphical Symbols

The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated “dangerous voltage” within the product’s closure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the pres-ence of important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the product.

Do not use this apparatus near water.

Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polar-ized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug,has two blades with one wider than the other. Arounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.

The lightning flash symbol showing means dangerous live terminals. Only qualified operator can connect this terminal to an extension cord, or use a special lead or wire which can connect safely

Mark: please turn off power when connect this terminal.

Instructions on Safe Operations

Install：

The device can only be inserted in the AC power supply socket of the specification or the specification of the specification on the instructions of the user manual.
Otherwise it may cause a fire or an electric shock.
Pls don’t scratch, bend, twist, pull, or heat the power cord, or may damage the power cord, and lead to fire or electric shock.
Pls don’t open the device cover or may result in electric shock. If you think there need any internal inspection, maintenance or repair, please contact your dealer.
The device has a ventilation hole on the front and back, so as to avoid the internal temperature rising too high. Do not block the ventilation holes.
Blocked ventilation holes may cause fire.

Operation：

When connecting the device, pls turn off all musical instruments, audio equipment and speakers, pls use the correct cable, and connect the device as per instructions.
- The supply voltage, please see the label on the back of the machine.

POWER ON/OFF
POWER INDICATOR
When the power is turned on, the indicator will blink repeatedly in 3-5 seconds in order to provide protection.
Device can’t output any sound from the speakers means the amplifier is automatically inspection before starting up. After the start or problems were excluded, and the light is fully lit, it will be return to normal operation.

Remarks:
When power is turned on initially , the fan will not start or in low speed, but when the heat sink temperature exceeds 45°C, it will start or speed up automatically. When the temperature changes, the fan speed will be automatically adjusted accordingly.

Back Panel

INPUT jack (Channel A, B), each channel is equipped with two kinds of jacks. Please note that when using BRIDGE or MONO mode, Channel A socket is valid.
STEREO / MONO / BRIDGE
STEREO mode, Channels A and B operate independently (same as old stereo amplifier).
Input signal of channel A output through jacks of Channel A, Channel B input signal through the channel B output jacks.
MONO mode, input signal of Channel A through the Channel A and Channel B output jacks.
Channel B input jack does not work. Volume of Channel A and B can be adjusted independently.
BRIDGE mode, input signal of channel A output from BRIDGE output jacks. To adjust the volume, you must use channel A volume control knob.
PASS / LPF
LPF mode does not apply any filtering mode.
PASS apply a low-pass filter, the range is 20Hz-180Hz. (Note: This feature is limited to 5 + and 5 + and above)
0.775V / 1V / 1.5V. (Optional of switch for input level)
GROUND / LIFT
This switch is used to select whether the ground circuit and cover connected, in the audio system of many devices, if you always have problems with hum or noise, pls use this terminal to ground or left floating.

(BRIDGE).
(CHA).
(CHA / CHB / BRIDGE). Speaker output interface and anti-touch terminals.
AC ~ power cord with plug.
PESET restorable protector for current overload.
