Thank you for purchasing the Soundbar Audio system Vivax SP-7080H.
It is important to read this user manual prior to using your new product for
the first time. In order to fully benefit from this product, please follow the
instructions in this user manual very carefully. Store this user manual in a
safe place for future reference. We are sure your new Soundbar system will
satisfy your needs.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When used in the directed manner, this unit has been designed and
manufactured to ensure your personal safety. However, improper use can
result in potential electrical shock or fire hazards. Please read all safety
and operating instructions carefully before installation and use, and keep
these instructions handy for future reference. Take special note of all
warnings listed in these instructions and on the unit.
CAUTION: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, DO NOT REMOVE COVER. NO
USER SERVICEABLE PARTS INSIDE, REFER SERVICING TO QUALIFIED SERVICE PERSONNEL.

Water and Moisture – The unit should not be used near water. For example: near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, swimming pool or in a wet basement.

Ventilation – The unit should be situated so that its location or position does not interfere with its proper ventilation. For example, it should not be situated on a bed, sofa, rug or similar surface that may block ventilation openings. Also, it should not be placed in a built-in installation, such as a bookcase or cabinet, which may impede the flow of air through the ventilation openings.

Heat – The unit should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or other appliances (including amplifiers) that produce heat.

Power Sources – The unit should be connected to a power supply only of the type described in the operating instructions or as marked on the appliance.

Charger Cable Protection – Charger cable should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or against them.

Cleaning – The unit should be cleaned only using a warm damp cloth. Do not use solvents, etc.

Objects and Liquid Entry – Care should be taken so that objects do not fall and liquids are not spilled into any openings or vents located on the product. In that case, immediately disconnect power supply and contact authorized service.

Attachments – Do not use attachments not recommended by the product manufacturer.

Periods of Non use – If the unit is to be left unused for an extended period of time, such as a month or longer, the power charging cable should be unplugged from the unit to prevent damage. Storage device on dry and dark place.

Servicing – The user should not attempt to service the unit beyond those methods described in the user’s operating instructions. Service methods not covered in the operating instructions should be referred to qualified service personnel.

Using Audio product prolonged periods or at a high volume can damage your hearing permanently. If you experience noise in the ears or other problems immediately stop using the unit. It is recommended to use Audio unit at a moderate volume.

Place exposed to vibration can affect the damage of internal parts of the device. The device should not be placed near open flames and sources
of intense heat, such as, electric heaters. -
Do not allow children to play with device.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of knowledge and experience to use the appliance, unless they are supervised by a person who is responsible for their safety or you’re not received training on the use of appliances¸. -
Place the unit on a hard and flat surface so that the unit does not tilt.

Do not cover the unit. Adequate ventilation with a minimum gap of 15cm between the ventilation holes and surrounding surfaces is necessary to prevent heat build-up
PREPARATION FOR USE
Unpacking and Setup
- Carefully remove the unit from the display carton and remove all packing material from the unit itself.
- Do not remove any labels located on either the back or button cabinet of the unit.
CONNECTING ELECTRICAL POWER AND SUBWOOFER
- Use the original adapter (DC 19V 2.5A) to connect the Soundbar to an electrical outlet.
- Connect the power adapter to the Soundbar and then to a wall socket.
- Don’t install the unit in or near a place where it may come in contact with rain, moisture or other liquids.
- Subwoofer connection –use attached cable to connect main unit with subwoofer unit SW OUT connector on main unit

OPERATION
Power On/Off:
Press the Power on/off button on the remote control or soundbar control
panel to turn the unit on and off.
HDMI(ARC):
Connect an HDMI ARC compatible device to the HDMI(ARC) port on the soundbar
using a HDMI cable (not supplied). Select HDMI(ARC) mode either by pressing
the MODE button on your remote control or repeatedly pressing the MODE button
on the soundbar control panel until ARC is displayed on the LED display.
Ensure HDMI ARC is selected as the TV’s audio output, then adjust the volume
of soundbar using the Volume up and Volume down buttons on the remote control
or soundbar control panel.
AUX in:
Connect a compatible device using the 3.5mm – 3.5mm stereo jack cable. Select
AUX mode either by pressing the MODE button on your remote control or
repeatedly pressing the MODE button on the soundbar control panel until AUX is
displayed on the LED display. Ensure the connected device is producing an
audio signal, then adjust the volume of soundbar using the Volume up and
Volume down buttons on the remote control or soundbar control panel.
Optical in:
Connect a compatible device to the OPTICAL input on the soundbar using a
digital optical cable (not supplied). Select OPT mode either by pressing the
MODE button on your remote control or repeatedly pressing the MODE button on
the soundbar control panel until OPT is displayed on the LED display. Ensure
Optical SPDIF is selected as the TV’s audio output, then adjust the volume of
the soundbar using the Volume up and Volume down buttons on the remote control
or soundbar control panel.
Coaxial in:
Connect a compatible device to the COAXIAL input on the soundbar using a
digital coaxial cable (not supplied). Select COAX mode either by pressing the
MODE button on your remote control or repeatedly pressing the MODE button on
the soundbar control panel until COA is displayed on the LED display. Ensure
Coaxial is selected as the TV’s audio output, then adjust the volume of the
soundbar using the Volume up and Volume down buttons on the remote control or
soundbar control panel.
Note:
OPTICAL/HDMI ARC/COAXIAL mode: If the the device has no sound output, you may
need to activate the PCM output on your source device (e.g. TV, Set‐top Box,
DVD, or Blu‐ray player
Bluetooth:
Press the MODE button on the remote control or repeatedly pressing the MODE
button on the soundbar control panel until BT is shown on the LED display. The
LED display will flash to indicate that the soundbar is in Bluetooth pairing
mode. Ensure that the device you wish to connect is also in pairing mode and
search for VIVAX SP‐7080H in its device list. When the two devices are paired,
the LED display on the soundbar will stop flashing and remain constant.
(The soundbar will now automatically re-pair with this device
whenever it is within range and has Bluetooth turned on.) Once paired, the
remote control can be used to play, pause and navigate between tracks on
compatible iOS and Android devices.
Note: Hold the BT button on the remote control to disconnect the
bluetooth connection between the phone and the soundbar.
USB media mode:
The soundbar is compatible with USB flash drives of up to 32GB in size and can
play audio files directly. Simply insert a compatible drive into the
USB port on the back of the soundbar and the unit will automatically
switch to USB mode and play the first compatible track. The media controls on
the remote control can be used to play, pause and navigate between tracks on
the flash drive, and the LED display will indicate the current track time.
USB repeat mode
(also accessed via the remote control) enables single track repeat (ONE), all
track repeat (ALL) The media player also has a memory function that will
recall and continue from the last-played point when a USB flash drive that has
previously been used with the soundbar is reinserted.
Equalizer modes:
The soundbar has 3 equalizer presets, tailored to complement various
styles of music. Press the EQ button on the remote to choose between Music
(EQ1), Movie(EQ2), News (EQ3).
Wall mounting:
The soundbar has two keyhole slots on the back to enable wall mounting, using
the fixings provided.
MAINTENANCE & SAFETY
- Place the unit on a hard and flat surface so that the unit does not tilt.
- Do not expose the unit to excessive humidity, rain, sand or excessive heat caused by heating equipment or direct sunlight.
- Do not cover the unit. Adequate ventilation to prevent heat build-up.
- To clean the set, use a soft dry cloth. Do not use any cleaning agents containing alcohol, ammonia, benzene or abrasives as these may harm the cabinet.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If a fault occurs, it is important you first check the points listed below before taking the unit for repair. If you are unable to remedy a problem by following these hints, consult your dealer or service center.
WARNING:
no circumstances should you try to repair the unit yourself, as this will
invalidate the warranty.
No Sound / Power
