Product Information: Induction Plate HPI-1500TP
The VIVAX Induction Plate HPI-1500TP has a dimension of 280 x 350 x 45mm. It
is designed for household use only and is not intended for commercial or
professional use. The device must be installed in compliance with the relevant
regulations of the installation country. The user manual and instructions
should be read carefully before using or installing the device.
The glass-ceramic plate requires proper maintenance. Spilled liquids such as
oil, sauce, or juice should be wiped immediately with a soft cloth soaked in
warm water with detergent or a special glass-ceramic cleaning agent. Do not
let spills dry on the surface as it may cause irreversible damage to the
glass-ceramic plate.
Product Usage Instructions
Before using or installing the device, make sure that it is not placed near
flammable materials such as curtains, paper, or other combustible items.
Check the power and supply of your electrical connection to ensure that it
matches the specifications stated on the label located at the back of the
device. If you have any doubts or questions, contact an authorized service
center or electrician.
Make sure that the electrical power to the socket or plug is disconnected
before installing the device.
When using the device, ensure that it is situated in a well-ventilated room as
it generates heat and humidity. Prolonged and intense use may require
additional ventilation, such as installation of additional air vents or
mechanical devices.
Never touch the glass-ceramic heating surface of the device while in use or
when it is hot.
Children aged 8 years and older and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or
mental abilities may use this device under supervision or with instructions on
safe use and an understanding of the risks involved. Children should not play
with the device. Cleaning and maintenance should not be performed by children
unless they are over 8 years old and under supervision.

WARNING:
COOKTOP MAINTENANCE
Do not allow sugar, sauces or juices to burn on the cooking plate.
This can DAMAGE the glass surface or even melt of the glass surface or make
subsequent cleaning much more difficult!
The light color change on the plate are normal and don’t have any influence on
working performances.
IMPORTANT AND SAFETY WARNINGS
- Please find required information as power and ratings for your cooker from rating label is which located behind of appliance.
- Ensure that the electricity supply is turned OFF before installing your appliance.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its services agent or similar qualified persons in order to avoid hazard.
- Keep the electrical cable of your cooker away from the hot areas; do not let them touch the appliance. Keep them away from sharp sides and heated surfaces.
- Usage of your appliance creates moisture and heat in the room; make sure that your kitchen is well ventilated.
- Prolonged intensive use of the appliance may call for additional ventilation, for example opening increasing the level of mechanical ventilation where present.
- When the plate is hot never touch the glass by hand.
- This appliance is for cooking purposes only. It must not be used for other purposes, for example room heating. All our appliances are only for domestic use, not for commercial use.
- Before starting to use your appliance, keep curtains, paper or inflammable things away from your appliance. Do not keep combustible or inflammable things in or near the appliance.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.

- Do not use Induction plate in potentially explosive atmospheres.
- If the current rate of the fuse in your installation is less than 16 Amp, have a qualified electrician fit a 16 Amp fuse.
- When device is being used, some parts may become hot; children should be kept away and supervised at all times.
- Do not splash cool water when the surface of the appliance is still hot. Arising steam may cause burns and sudden temperature exchange may cause damages on the surface of the appliance
- WARNING: Accessible parts may become hot during use. Young children should be kept away.
- WARNING: The appliance and its accessible parts become hot during use. Care should be taken to avoid touching heating elements. Children less than 8 years of age shall be kept away unless continuously supervised.
- Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers to clean the glass since they can scratch the surface which may result in shattering of the glass.
- On hot plate should not put unstable or deformed pots to prevent their roll over, which can cause injury.
- If the current rate of the fuse in your installation is less than 16 Ampere, have a qualified electrician fit a 16 A. fuse.
- This appliance is produced in accordance with the safety regulations. Incorrect use will harm people and appliance.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Never let them play with the appliance.
- The cooker may be located in a kitchen, a kitchen/diner or bed-sitting room but not in a room containing a bath or shower.
- Caution: glass lids may shatter when heated. Turn off all the burners before shutting the lid. Any spillage should be removed from the lid before opening.
- Caution: Accessible parts may be hot when the grill is in use. Young children should be kept away”
- Do not put flammable, combustible, explosive liquid able or deformable by heat any material close to the Induction plate. There is possible risk of danger even if your appliance is not in use.
- Bread may catch fire if the toasting time is too long. Close supervision is necessary during toasting
- WARNING: Unattended cooking on a hob with fat or oil can be dangerous and may result in fire. NEVER try to extinguish a fire with water, but switch off the appliance and then cover flame e.g. with a lid or a fire blanket (wet kitchen cloth).
- WARNING: Danger of fire: do not store items on the cooking surfaces.
- WARNING: If the surface is cracked, switch off the appliance to avoid the possibility of electric shock
- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system
- WARNING: This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

- Never place an empty pan on the Induction plate panel.
- Metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons and lids should not be placed on the hob surface since they can get hot.
- The glass ceramic can be damaged by objects falling onto it.
- If the surface is cracked, switch off the appliance to avoid the possibility of electric shock, for hob surfaces of glass ceramic or similar material which protect live parts

POSITION OF THE APPLIANCE
Place your cooking plate device on stabile and flat surface.
Before you start to use appliance, please carefully read „IMPORTANT AND SAFETY
WARNINGS” chapter!
Before using Induction plate, please remove all flammable tapes, styrofoam or
any other materials on cooker. Also, take out user manual and other flammable
materials from appliance.

HOW TO USE INDUCTION COOKER

In order to have a good cooking result from the hob, the pans bottom should be as thick and flat as possible.

Bottom of pans and cooking zones should be the same size. If possible, always place lids on the pans. Always place cookware on the cooking zone before it is switched on. Switch cooking zones off before the end of the cooking time, to take advantage of residual heat.

Plug into the proper socket;

Put an Iron or Steel pot with water or food on the center of the cooking plate;

Push [ON/OFF] button, then the machine is on status;
-
Press [FUNCTION] button to choose different cooking functions.

Power: 200 – 400 – 800 – 1000 – 1200 – 1300 – 1400 – 1500W (8 Levels)

Temperature: 80 – 100 – 130 – 160 – 180 – 200 – 220 – 240℃ (8 Levels)
Five Cooking functions:
- Hot Pot (Manual function): default work as 1300W, press [+] or [-] to adjust power level from 200 – 1500W, it will auto shut off if without people operate more than 2 hours.
- Fry (Manual function): default work as 240℃, press [+] or [-] to adjust power level from 80-240 , it will auto shut off if without people operate more than 2 hours.
- Water (Automatic function): default work as 1500W, cannot adjust power level by press [+] or [-], working process is controlled automatically by program, it will auto shut off if without people operate more than 25 minutes.
- Steam (Automatic function): default work as 1300W, cannot adjust power level by press [+] or [-], after working 12 minutes, it will turn to 800W intermittent heating, working process is controlled automatically by program, it will auto shut off if without people operate more than 1 hours.
- Low Fire (Automatic function): default work as 800W, cannot adjust power level by press [+] or [-], working process is controlled automatically by program, it will auto shut off if without people operate more than 2 hours.
Note: After cooking, push [ON / OFF] button, and then the machine is off status;
TIMER FUNCTION
When the machine is working, press [TIMER] button, then press [+] or [-] to
set the TIMER time (from 1-4 hours) , All functions can set TIMER time, during
setting TIMER time, press once [+] or [-] to add or reduce 1 min, long press
[+] or [-] to add or reduce 10 min.
LOCK FUNCTION
When the machine is working or standby mode, press [LOCK] button for 3
seconds, then the all buttons will be locked; press [LOCK] button for 3
seconds again, then the all buttons will be unlocked;
ERROR CODE
Error Code | Possible Reason |
---|---|
E0 | There is no pot/pan or unsuitable pot/pan on induction cooker. |
E1 | Supply voltage is too low (less than 88V). |
E2 | Supply voltage is too high (more than 280V). |
E3 | The temperature of plate surface is too high, or short-circuited. |
E4 | Plate surface temperature sensor is not connected well. |
E5 | The Heat sensor of radiator (IGBT) is over heat, or short- |
circuited, or the fan is not connected well.
E6| The Heat sensor of radiator (IGBT) is not connected well.
MAINTENANCE and CLEANING
- Disconnect the plug supplying electricity from the socket.
- While Induction plate is operating or shortly after it starts operating, it is extremely hot. You must avoid touching glass surface!
- Never clean plate surface by the tools like hard brush, cleaning mesh or knife. Do not use abrasive, scratching agents and detergents.
- After cleaning with a soapy cloth, rinse it with cloth and then dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
- Clean the glass surfaces with special glass cleaning agents.
- Do not clean your plate with steam cleaners.
- Never use inflammable agents like acid, thinner and gasoline when cleaning your oven.
WARNING:
Spilled sauce, fruit juice, etc. should be wiped off as soon as possible with
a soft cloth soaked in warm water with a detergent.
Do not allow sauces or juices to burn on the cooking plate. This can damage
the glass surface or even melt of the glass surface or make subsequent
cleaning much more difficult! The light color change on the plate are normal
and do not have any influence on working performances.
Do not use a steel wool or knives to clean dirt deposits. Grease the deposits
with a cloth soaked with a very damp detergent, but be careful not to scratch
glass top.
