Explanation of the symbols

Additional safety warnings
Please read this manual carefully and use the unit only according to this manual.
- Always keep all labels on the device clean and readable.
- Only use the device for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in this manual. The device is not designed for continuous, professional use.
- Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to use the device, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a qualified person. Keep the device out of reach of children.
- Never leave the device unsupervised when in use.
- Do not operate the device while third parties are in the danger zone.
- Ensure a safety distance to other persons or animals while working.
- During operation small stones or other objects may be thrown away violently. Wear solid shoes and long trousers when operating the device. Wear safety goggles. The machine is capable of generating high levels of noise. Wear hearing protection when operating the device.
- Children shall not play with the device. It is not a toy.
- Do not operate the device with wet hands.
- Do not operate the device close to flammable liquids or gases.
- Only use original accessories.
- Make sure the suction inlet and the blower outlet are not directed towards people or animals.
- The device does not have an automatic turn-off. Too much pressure in the inflated object can burst it. Observe the object while inflating.
- Do not overload the device during work.
- Do not block the blower outlet and the suction inlet while working with the device.
- Make sure long hair or loose clothing cannot get into the openings of the device.
- Before using the device, check for damages and do not use a damaged device. Should the device become damaged do not use it and have it repaired by a professional or contact our customer support department. Do not disassemble the device or try repairing it yourself.
- Keep your fingers away from the openings of the power tool during operation. Operate the blower only with a nozzle attached. The rotating fan can injure you.
- Do not blow together any harmful substances, e.g. beech or oak wood dust, rock dust or asbestos. These substances are considered carcinogenic.
- Do not blow together any liquids. The penetration of liquids increases the risk of an electric shock.
- Keep the power tool away from rain or moisture. The penetration of water into the motor increases the risk of an electric shock.
- Provide for good ventilation at the working place.
- Wear additional personal protective equipment, such as safety goggles and respirator. Wearing protective equipment for appropriate conditions reduces the exposure toward hazardous substances.
- Always switch off your product, allow the fan to stop and remove the battery when:
– You leave your product unattended.
– Checking, adjusting, cleaning or working on your product.
– If the appliance starts to vibrate
Intended use
This rechargeable multifunctional blower is designed for blowing away and collecting leaves, grass, dirt and refuse. Furthermore the device can be used as a volume pump for inflating water toys. The multifunctional blower is for private use only. Any other use is regarded as contrary to the intended use and will result in damaging the device. The cone-shaped nozzle produces a broad and powerful airstream at ground level. It can be aimed and controlled very accurately. This nozzle is highly effective for blow sweeping sawdust, leaves, grass cuttings, etc. on flat surfaces.
Possible foreseeable misuse
The device is designed neither for commercial use in public parks and sports facilities, nor for use in farming and forestry. Even during correct use of the device, there is always a certain residual risk that cannot be excluded. Depending on the use, the following potential risks can be derived from the type and construction of the device:
- Throwing out of cuttings, soil and small stones.
- Inhalation of cuttings particles if no breathing protection is worn.
- Damage to the hearing if no hearing protection is worn.
Scope of delivery
The device is designed to be used with the rechargeable battery 2.0Ah type BT- CLB001 (Art. No.7062517), with type 4.0 Ah BT-CLB002 (Art. No. 7062518) or with type 5.0 Ah BT-CLB004 (Art. No. 7063735). Please note that the rechargeable battery and a charging unit are not included in delivery.
ATTENTION! Danger of damage to the device and battery!
If the device is operated with an unsuitable battery, both the device and the
battery may be damaged. Only operate the device with the specified
rechargeable battery. For charging the rechargeable battery, the charging unit
2.4 A BT-CLC004 (7063688), 4 A BT-CLC003 (7063554) or Dual fast charger 2x 3.5
A BT-CLC006 (7063910) is required.
Vibration load
WARNING! Danger due to Vibration! The actual magnitude of the vibration emissions during the operation of the device may deviate from that stated by the manufacturer:
- when the device is not operated as intended;
- when the device is not in a proper condition of use.
Noise pollution
A certain level of noise exposure from the device is inevitable.
Carry out noisy work at approved and specified time periods. Observe rest
periods as necessary.
For your personal protection and protection of persons in the vicinity,
appropriate hearing protection must be worn.
WARNING! Danger due to incomplete assembly!
Operation of an incompletely assembled device can result in serious injury.
Only operate the device when it is fully assembled!
Do not insert the battery into the device until it is fully assembled!
Before first use
- Remove the device and all additional parts out of the packaging.
- Check all parts for damage in transit and do not use a damaged device.
- Keep packaging materials out of reach of children. There is risk of suffocation!
Assembly – Using as leaf blower
- Before starting work, mount the included accessory on the multifunctional blower. The two-piece blowing tube consists of the cone nozzle (1) and the extension tube (2) and is equipped with bayonet lock (7). Mount the assembled blowing tube on the device and make sure the assembled blowing tube is properly locked.
- Make sure the battery is fully loaded. For detailed information read and observe the instruction manuals of the rechargeable battery and charger.
- Insert the battery straight into the recess of the device and push the battery up to the end until you hear a click sound.
- To remove the battery, first depress the unlocking button and pull out straight from the device. Do not force the battery when inserting into the device or removing.
ON/OFF trigger
- To switch on the device, press the ON/ OFF trigger (6).
- To switch off the device, release the trigger.
Lock button for ON/OFF trigger
- For locking the ON/OFF trigger (6), press the ON/OFF trigger and afterwards press the locking button (4). The ON/OFF trigger is now locked in place. Release the ON/OFF trigger.
- For unlocking and switching off the device, press the ON/OFF trigger and release it. The locking button (4) automatically snaps back in place and the device switches off.
Hints on correct working technique
- WARNING! Only operate the device when the blowing tube properly assembled. There is risk of injury!
- Hold the device firmly in your hand. The multifunctional blower is designed forone-hand operation. The device can be operated with the right or the left hand.
- Angle the device forwards slightly, and walk forwards slowly.
- Sweep the machine to the right and left in order to blow away the leaves.
- Never work against the wind to ensure that you and persons behind you are not soiled.
- Always make sure to have a safe stand while working with the device.
- Do not overload the device during work. Do not block the blower outlet and the suction inlet while working with the device.
- Make sure long hair or loose clothing cannot get into the openings of the device.
- In dusty locations, it is advisable to slightly dampen the surface with a suitable spraying device to avoid too much dust.
- In case of stubborn soiling, it is advisable to loosen the surface with a rake or broom.
- After operation, remove the battery from the device to avoid unintentional switching on.
Speed regulator
The device is equipped with an infinitely adjustable speed regulator (5).
- When starting work, adjust the speed regulator to the lowest setting for low air volume.
- Turn the speed regulator in direction to the highest setting, according to the desired application.
Assembly – Operating as volume pump
- To inflate water toys (e.g. water balls), mount the nozzle holder (9) on the blower outlet (3) of the device.
- Insert the suitable nozzle (10) into the nozzle holder (9).
- Make sure the nozzle holder is properly locked in the blower opening.
• Do not leave the inflating object unattended!
• The device does not switch off automatically. Thus the object to be inflated can burst
Assembly – Extracting clean air
- For extracting clean air from an object, e.g. from an inflated airbed, mount the suitable nozzle (10) on the suction inlet (8) and switch on the device.
- Do not leave the device unattended during work
Maintenance and cleaning
WARNING: Always disconnect from the mains power supply, before carrying out any maintenance/ cleaning of the charger. Remove the battery before carrying out any maintenance/ cleaning of the tool.
Maintenance
There are no inner parts of the tool which need maintenance.
Cleaning
- Keep safety devices, ventilation openings and the motor housing as free as possible from dirt and dust. Rub the electric power tool with a clean cloth or blow over it with low pressure compressed air.
- We recommend that you clean your electric power tool immediately after each use.
- Clean the electric power tool regularly with a damp cloth and somewhat soft soap.
Do not use any cleaning or solvent materials; these can attack the device’s plastic components. Make sure that no water can get inside the electric power tool.
Storing
- Clean the device before storing it.
- Before storing check all parts for damages.
- Store the device indoors in dry place that is protected from dust and dirt and extreme temperatures.

Disposal
Do not dispose of electric power tools with domestic refuse. The electric
power tool is shipped in
packaging to reduce transport damage. This packaging is a raw material and as
such can either be reused or can be fed back into the raw material cycle. The
electric power tool and its accessories are made from various materials such
as metals and plastics. Take defective components to a special refuse
collection point. Ask about these at your specialist shop or local council.

does not cover any malfunction, or defect resulting from misuse, neglect,
alteration, or repair.
