- Before starting work, switch off all devices and components involved, and disconnect them from the grid.
- Secure all devices and components involved so they cannot be switched back on.
- After opening the device, use a suitable measuring instrument to check that electrically charged components (such as capacitors) have been discharged.

- Wire infeed tube
- Rubber bushing
- Sensor with cable
- Inlet piece

Installing the OPT/i wire actual value transmitter
Preparation

Switch off the power source and disconnect from the grid

Disconnect the CWF 25i R wirefeeder from all system components
-
Open side panel
-
Remove the 5 TX20 screws
-
Remove lid with side panel
-
Remove the 2 TX20 screws
-
Pull off the cover to the front
-
Remove the dummy cover
-
Remove 2 TX25 screws
The screws will be required for subsequent work steps. -
Remove existing wire infeed tube

Unscrew the infeed tube nozzle from the previously removed wire infeed tu-be
-
Screw the infeed tube nozzle onto the inlet piece included in the scope of supply
Installing the OPT/i wire actual value transmit-ter

Guide the sensor cable through the opening in accordance with the illustration
-
Insert the rubber bushing into the opening
-
Route the sensor cable through the device to the opposite sideIMPORTANT! When plugging in the sensor cable, make sure that the clamping nose of the plug points towards the center of the PCB inside the device.

Connect sensor cable on PCB SR63 to X13, e.g. with the aid of needle-nose pliers
-
Fit cover
-
Secure the cover using 2 TX 20 screws Tightening torque = 2 Nm

Insert the inlet piece into the motor plate using needle-nose pliers
-
Insert sensor and hold from the front
-
Insert the wire infeed tube included in the scope of supply
-
Secure the wire infeed tube using 2 TX20 screws Tightening torque = 3.5 Nm
Final tasks
- Put on lid with side panel
- Secure lid using 5 TX20 screws Tightening torque = 2 Nm
- Close the side panel
