Introduction
Our PC38X gaming headset is a step up in terms of comfort, build quality, and acoustic performance from the very popular PC37X. Simply told, the PC38X improves your ability to hear opponents and perceive your environment. It has greater stereo imagery and locational accuracy because to the angled drivers and open-back design. The EPOS GSP 500 and 600, two of the best gaming headsets on the market, share a family with the drivers.
Compared to the original PC37X, they provide better low-end extension, making your games and music feel more realistic than ever. The noise-cancelling microphone is ideal for gaming Skype calls and video chatting because it is optimized to handle annoying pops and hisses and is designed for high-volume low-distance recording. A new, permeable mesh-knit pad has been added to the headband, keeping you cooler and providing better support during extended sessions.

LOCATIONAL ACCURACY
Simply told, the PC38X improves your ability to hear opponents and perceive your environment. It provides better stereo imaging and locational accuracy due to the angled drivers and open-back design, enabling you to spot enemy movement, bullets, and incoming threats exactly where they are coming from.
CLEAR, AMBIANCE-FREE COMMUNICATION
As part of Sennheiser’s initial small microphone project, noise-cancelling microphones were inspired by the aviator-specific microphones that were first developed. The mic is optimized to tolerate unpleasant pops and hisses, making it perfect for Zoom conversations and video conferencing. It was created for high-volume, close-range recording. Sennheiser equipment is actually used to record a lot of games today, which speaks highly of the microphone capsule. The mic can also be muted by simply rotating it up; this produces a satisfying click that lets you know when it has been muted.
HOW TO CONNECT
Mic and Audio-in 3.5mm ports. For wired gaming headphones with 3.5mm Jacks, utilize these ports. HDMI port. A USB 3.0 port.
FAQs
In 7.1 surround sound?****
You don’t really need headphones with gimmicky 7.1 because you can utilize Dolby Atmos on consoles or computers, which will sound better than the 7.1 incorporated into some headsets.
Describe drop+.****
Sennheiser collaborated with Drop to produce these.
In what ways does it differ from the PC37X?****
I partly concur with Caleb that they don’t sound all that different from the PC37x. But these seem a tiny bit lighter on my head and weigh a little bit less, and the ear cushions are much cooler and cozier.
Why does the black version say epos while the yellow version says Senheiser? Is there a distinction?****
Epos is the parent firm, to be precise.
If this was connected to a phone using the “Console” 3.5mm connection, would the microphone function? Or is a direct connection to a mic port required?****
Without an adapter, it functions in phones. The jack has four conductors. One each for L, R, and Mic, and one for the ground.
Is this headset compatible with Skype?****
Yes.
Which of these and the brand-new Epos H6 Pro is superior?****
You’ll need to check reviews and read specifications, however I don’t like the present EPOS brand. The PC38X’s driver is an improvement over the HD 5XX line of headphones, which were produced when Sennheiser was still involved.
What’s their difference from the earlier Sennheiser PC 363d? I need to buy new cords because mine started to malfunction. I was pleased with how they performed.****
It’s a good pair of headphones. The cable on this one is replaceable if it becomes damaged and is removable. This one is built to last.
When utilizing this with Microsoft Teams, are there any issues?****
No
Anyone attempt the black and yellow at the same time? Are branding (epos vs. sennheiser) and color the only differences?****
Yes, the things you stated are the only differences. The headphones are the same.
Why does yellow cost more? Aren’t they both the same?****
My understanding and research indicate that these models are equivalent.
Does it have a customizable software?****
No, because it’s not a USB headset. It simply plugs into your Computer / Console / Controller via a 3.5mm jack.
Where can I find replacement ear cups?****
It includes two sets of ear cups.
Is there an otmp or ctia standard for the trrs connector? I’m doing this to see if I can utilize the microphone while using BKT5.****
There seems to be some contradicting information about what is what. I can attest that it functions flawlessly in any Xbox controller I own.
Is there a version of this with a detachable microphone or an equivalent brand and model?****
The microphone on every Drop + Sennheiser headset is permanently attached and cannot be removed. To muffle a microphone, simply flip it up or unplug only the microphone cable.
