  1. Before using the appliance for the first time, please read carefully these Instructions for Use.

  2. The appliance should be connected to sockets compliant with current parameters given on the casing.

  15. When used in the bathroom, the appliance must be disconnected after use because proximity of water is dangerous even if the appliance is turned off.

  16. The appliance must not be immersed in or sprinkled with water.

  17. When in operation, do not leave the appliance unattended.
    The power cord and the whole appliance should be regularly checked for damage. Do not turn the appliance on, if any damage has been found.

  18. In the event the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced in the Manufacturer’s Service Centre to prevent danger. A list of Service Centres can be found in the attachment and on the website www.eldom.eu.

  19. The appliance can be repaired only in an authorised Service Centre. Any modernization or application of spare parts or elements other than the original ones is forbidden and dangerous for the user.

  20. The company Eldom Sp. z o.o. shall not be liable for any damage caused by inappropriate use of the appliance.

INTENDED USE
The MG11U hair clipper is designed to cut hair. It has steel blades, guaranteeing high durability of the device, the rotating ring allows to cut hair from 3-15 mm.

HOW TO USE THE APPLIANCE

  • Before use, check the appliance is complete and undamaged.
  • Remove all transport protection.
  • The clipper can be used as a mains or battery powered device.
  • If mains-powered, the unit is ready to use immediately.

Electric power supply

  • Turn off the device by moving the switch (3) to the “OFF” position.
  • Connect one end of the cable (9) to the clipper, and the other to the power supply (not included), with the parameters specified above, and then to the mains.
  • Connection to the mains is indicated by the indicator light (4).
  • To start work, set the switch (3) to the “ON” position.
  • When finished working, turn off the device by sliding the switch (3) down and disconnect the cable (9) from the mains and from the device socket.

Charging and operation with the batt

  • The charging time of the battery is about 8 hours.

  • Charging is indicated by the red indicator light (4).

  • Turn off the device – the switch (3) in the “OFF” position.

  • Connect one end of the cable (9) to the clippers, and the other to the power supply (not included), with the parameters specified above, and then to the mains.
    NOTICE: The control lamp (4) does not go out after the battery has been charged.

  • After the battery has been charged, disconnect the feeder, the appliance is ready for operation with the battery. To start operation, turn the switch-key (3) to position “ON”.

  • Charging the battery for over 12 hours reduces its life span.

  • If the appliance is not used for a longer period of time, it is recommended to charge the battery at least once every half a year.

Hair clipping

  • Make sure the appliance is clean, correctly assembled and oiled.
  • Before clipping the hair, comb it to make it more natural.

CAUTION. The appliance must not be used to cut wet hair.

  • The slider (6) should be moved to the right – the plastic cap at the head is retracted.
  • Put on the cap (5) by sliding it into the guides (10) photo 1 – the knob (2) should be turned to the maximum left. The knob (2) allows you to set 24 lengths of hair clipping.
  • Working with the attachment allows you to cut hair in the range from 3-15 mm. A shorter haircut length will be obtained by removing the cap (5). To do this, turn the knob (2) as far to the left as possible and slide out the cap (5) photo 1.
  • It is recommended to start trimming from the largest length.
  • It is necessary to cut small areas, slowly moving the razor through the hair.
  • Start trimming from the nape of the neck upwards or from the forehead and temples upwards.
  • Hold the razor gently under the hair so that the teeth of the attachment point upward and lie flat on the head
  • For thick hair, you can move the slider (9) to the left – a plastic cap will slide out, blocking some of the hair from sliding under the head (1) and making it easier to work with. After thinning the hair, move the switch (9) to the right and continue cutting.
  • The clipper is started with the switch (3), position “on”. The operation of the clipper is additionally indicated by the indicator lamp (4).

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and turn it off.

  • After using the appliance, the chamber of cutting knives should always be cleaned. For this purpose, open the cutting head (1) by pressing the clipper blades with your thumb in the direction shown in phot. 2. Protect the blades against falling down.
    NOTICE. Do not immerse the appliance in water.

  • Clean the blades with the brush included in the set.

  • Cutting blades must be maintained on a regular basis. Put one to two drops of oil between the blades and turn the appliance on for a few seconds.

  • Do not use hair oils, fat, oils mixed with refined kerosene or other solvents.

  • Do not use any cleansing agents which are strong or may damage the surface.

  • Wipe the casing with a moist or dry cloth.
