HAND BLENDER

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Failure to comply with the following safety and safety instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury. Keep all warnings and security notices so you can use them in the future. Before the first use, you should carefully read all the contents of this manual.

  1. The connection cable must be plugged into a socket with the parameters specified in the instructions.
  2. Do not immerse the cable or device in water.
  3. Do not use outdoors.
  4. Do not place the appliance near heat sources.
  5. Do not leave children unattended near the appliance.
  6. This equipment may be used by children of at least 8 years of age and by persons of diminished physical and mental capabilities and persons with inexperience and lack of familiarity with the equipment, if supervision or instruction is provided on how to use the equipment safely so that the associated risks are understood. Children should not play with the equipment. Unsupervised children should not carry out cleaning or maintenance of the equipment.
  7. Before switching on the equipment, make sure that all its components are properly assembled.
  8. Do not handle the equipment with wet hands.
  9. NOTE There is a possibility of injury due to improper use. Be careful when handling the cutting blades and when cleaning.
  10. Always unplug the appliance if left unattended and before folding, unfolding or cleaning.
  11. Do not use the appliance to grind ice, bones, and other hard products or to grind nuts, coffee and dried legumes.
  12. Do not grind hot products.
  13. The appliance may only be used with the accessories originally supplied.
  14. The chopper tip knife is unprotected on the underside take extra care.
  15. Do not touch the chopping tip knife and the chopping blade in the container while the appliance is in operation and only touch the blades after they have been switched off.
  16. The appliance must not be used with a damaged knife.
  17. Do not exceed the appliance’s permissible continuous running time.
  18. Do not use if the power cord is damaged, if the appliance has fallen or is otherwise damaged. Have the appliance repaired by an authorized service center; list of service centers in the appendix and at www.eldom.eu.
  19. Any modernization or use of non-original spare parts or appliance components is forbidden and endangers the safety of use.
  20. Eldom Sp. z o. o. shall not be held liable for any damage resulting from improper use of the appliance.

WARNING: Plastic bags can be dangerous, to avoid the danger of suffocation keep these bags away from babies and children.

The knife in the tip (5) is a consumable item and is not covered by the warranty. The knife (5) must not be cleaned with bare hands. A brush should be used for cleaning.

  • The appliance is made of materials that can be recycled.
  • It should be handed over to the applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.

WARRANTY

  • This appliance is designed for domestic use only.
  • It cannot be used for professional purposes or for other than the intended use.

INTENDED USE
The BL230 hand mixer is designed for, among other things, the preparation of creamy soups and nutritious smoothies. The speed of the appliance is set using the handy controller, and by changing its position, 12 different speeds can be selected. The TURBO button is used to instantly reach the highest speed.

OPERATION

After unpacking the device, make sure that it has not been damaged in transit. If in any doubt, refrain from using it until you contact a service center.

Speed settings
Using the controller (1), adjust the speed of the appliance. By adjusting the regulator, it is possible to obtain 12 different speeds. The appliance starts working after pressing and holding the switch (2). The TURBO button (3) is used to immediately obtain the maximum rotational speed corresponding to the position “12” of the controller (1). The crusher works as long as the on / off switch (2 or 3) is pressed.

USE

Before first use, all components outside the body must be thoroughly washed and dried (see: CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE). NOTE The temperature of the products being processed must not exceed 60o C.

  • Put the tip (5) on the body (4) and lock it (fig. 2) – make sure the tip is properly seated.
  • Immerse the blade in the mixed (crushed) liquid completely.
  • Select the appropriate speed using the controller (1) and press the button (2 or 3).
  • Crush the ingredients in circular movements until the desired consistency is obtained.
  • When finished working, detach the tip (5) from the body (4) – fig. 3. When mixing (grinding) hot liquids, be careful not to overheat the tip (5). The crusher cutter (5) is very sharp. It can be touched only when the appliance is disconnected from the mains and stopped.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Disconnect the unit from the mains before cleaning.
  • No components are suitable for washing in dishwashers.
  • Do not immerse in water.
  • Do not clean the appliance with sharp, abrasive cloths or sponges as you can damage the appliance this way.
  • The crusher (5) must not be completely immersed in water. Complete immersion of the elements in water may damage them and void the warranty.
  • The crusher (5) should be detached from the body (4) for cleaning. Clean them with water and some washing-up liquid. Only the cutter tip and the whisk tip can be immersed.
  • The body (4) can be wiped with a damp cloth.

The chopper tip knife (5) must not be cleaned with bare hands. Use a toothbrush for cleaning.
