GETTING STARTED
- Step 1. Open the enclosure’s drive chamber after removing the cover’s screw to begin M.2 SSD installation.
- Step 2. To not damage the connector, insert the SSD into the M.2 slot at a 45-degree angle, then slowly press the drive down flat. Lastly, secure the drive in place by rotating the retention clasp.
- Step 3. Re-cover the drive chamber and securely screw the cover into place before use.
- Step 4. Plug and play! The drive may require formatting. See FAQ for details.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. Why doesn’t my drive show up immediately in Windows or other OS?

A. If the drive is brand new it will require initialization and formatting before use. This can be done through Disk Management in Windows, Disk Utility in macOS, or similar utilities in other operating systems. If the drive does not show up there but the enclosure shows up in Device Manager or the equivalent, then DiskPart or similar may be used to carefully prepare the drive.
Q. What drives are supported by this enclosure? -
A. This enclosure is specifically intended for M.2 2230 PCle NVMe SSDs. mSATA SSDs and M.2 SATA SSDs will not function. PCle AHCl SSDs also do not work.

Q. What are the full capabilities of the enclosure hardware?
- A. This enclosure is designed with a 10Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen 2×1) bridge chip to operate between two PCle 3.0 lanes and USB. This includes full UASP and TRIM support with BOT fallback.

Q. Does this enclosure have power-saving features?
- A. The enclosure is set by default to sleep after 10 minutes of inactivity.
