Water Connection
We recommend as horizontal tube the use of a ¾” pipe. It is foreseen for
installation of the connecting pipe ½” the use of SUEVIA Boring Bracket
(101.0529). Water connection is possible from the right side, laterally.
For connection from the top or bottom angular screwing ½” (102.0352) is recommended. For connection from the left side the float valve can be inversed.
Adjustment of water level
Water level in the bowl can be adjusted by changing the height of the float
valve.
Procedure:
Unscrew the screws (102.0723) and take off the valve cover. Loosen the knurled
nut (102.0621) and adjust the floater at the desired height.
Tighten the knurled nut (102.0621), put the valve cover back and tighten it
well with the screws (102.0723).
Cleaning
Stop water flow, open the drainage plug (102.1819). Drain the water and clean
the bowl. Close the drainage plug, open the water flow.
Integrated bowl heating
Frost-protected down to -15°C by a heating element (24 V, 33 W).
Heating element (102.1784) is mounted and protected in the cover (102.1782)
under the bowl. The remaining 17 W (approx. 2 m cable length) is used to keep
the feed-pipe frost-free. If this heating cable is installed on plastic pipes,
make sure that this water pipe is suited for warm and cold water. For better
heat distribution the water pipe has to be wrapped first with an aluminium
adhesive tape (101.1099). An integrated thermostat switches the heating on at
6°C and off at 16°C. It is also possible to install the drinkig bowl into a
water circuit. Connection set for ¾” circuits (103.3010).
Cables must be protected against bites on site.
Max. cable lengths:
Guidelines. Please note cable data sheets and local standards.
Electric connection
All installation, maintenance and inspection works must be carried out only by
an authorised and qualified specialist. Local norms must be respected. We
recommend to ground the drinker due to electrostatic discharges.
