Operating instructions

Please read these instructions carefully and keep them safe for later use!

Safety information

  • Electrical work and repairs must be performed by a qualified electrician.
  • The luminaire must not be modified in any way. Risk of electric shock and accident.
  • The light source and the battery of this luminaire are not replaceable; when the light source or the battery reaches its end of life the whole luminaire shall be replaced.
  • The luminaire is not intended for commercial use.
  • Do not look directly at the lighted luminaire to avoid eye injuries.
  • Do not operate work luminaire if it has a missing or damaged lens cover.
  • Never use the luminaire near flammable surfaces or materials or volatile fluids such as gasoline.
  • Charge the luminaire only with the supplied adapters. Use the adapters only for charging this luminaire.

Operation

  1. Fold up the handle 12 into basic position and fix its screws.
  2. Choose the desired angle and tighten the angle fixing screws 3 clockwise.
  3. Press On/Off button 11 once to switch on. Press button repeatedly to reach different levels of brightness or the SOS signalling mode: 25% (only 10468554), 50%, 100% or SOS mode. Press again to switch the luminaire off. To recharge see section III.
  4. The luminaire can be used as power bank to recharge smartphones, tablets and similar electronic devices via USB A port 9. Please observe the power bank output (see technical data).
  5. Fold the luminaire 1 as shown to hang by the luminaire stand 4.

Charging

Caution :

  • The luminaire can not be charged via USB A port 9.
  • Do not charge the battery outdoors or in damp environments.
  • Only charge with the original adapters.• Ensure charging port is sealed before use.
  • Do not use outdoors or in damp environments with connected power adapter.
  1. Open the protective cap 10 and insert the charging cable.
  2. Only 10468553: Connect the charging cable to the power adapter 5.
  3. Connect the adapter 5 / 6 to a suitable power socket (see technical data). The battery charging time is 4 to 5 hours.
  4. Close the protective cap 10 firmly after charging. Work time: 3 hrs at 100% brightness; 5 hrs at 50%; 15 hrs at 25% (only 10468554)

Maintenance and care

Wipe the luminaire with a soft, dry cloth only. Never use scouring powders or chemical cleaning agents.
