Product Usage Instructions

Placing the Appliance:

Ensure the following components are correctly placed:

  • 1. Control panel
  • 2. Air outlet
  • 3. Water indicator
  • 4. Castors
  • 5. Handle
  • 6. Air filter, air inlet
  • 7. Water tank
  • 8. Cooling pad
  • 9. Ice box

Using the Appliance:

  • Choose the speed: The device has three fan speed settings: Low, Mid, and High.
  • Cooling Function (Cooler): Press the Cooler button after adding ice boxes and water into the tank. Do not activate if the tank is empty.
  • Swing Function: Press the swing button to control airflow direction left and right.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

To ensure optimal functioning, clean the unit at least once a month. Follow these steps:

  • Unplug the unit before cleaning.
  • Use a soft brush and damp cloth for cleaning.
  • Reassemble the air filter and cooling pad carefully to avoid leakage.

GENERAL SAFE GUARDS

  • Do not block the ventilation air inlet by placing the unit too close to the wall, curtains or other furnishings as this will affect the cooling efficiency.
  • Please check local voltage is in accordance with the voltage detailed on the rating plate of the air cooler.
  • Before each use check there is no damage to the power cord or plug.
  • Ensure that the power cord is fully unraveled, it is not twisted and there are no loose wires. If the power cord is damaged in any way it must be repaired by a qualified electrician. e s
  • Never cover the ventilation air outlet. Keep the air cooler away from the mains socket. Mains sockets must be in excess of 10A current.
  • Plug the Air Cooler directly into the mains socket. Do not plug the Air cooler into an extension lead. Do not plug the Air cooler into a socket that is powering other appliances.
  • When the air cooler is in operation do not insert your hand, fingers or any other object (example a screwdriver) inside the ventilation grille or any part of the appliance. Take care to ensure children are supervised and know not to place fingers or anything inside the Air Cooler.
  • The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capability, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  • Please turn off the power before pulling the plug from the socket. Always unplug the Air Cooler by gripping the plug.
  • Never pull the power cord to unplug the appliance as this could result in loose wi res leading to short circuit, fire and electric shock.
  • To avoid the risk of electric shock never handle the plug or the appliance with wet hands.
  • Unplug the appliance from the socket when it is not in use.
  • Unplug the appliance when you are out of the house or sleeping.
  • Always place the Air Cooler on a flat, solid, stable surface. Do not place the Air Cooler on a slope.
  • For indoor use only. Do not use outdoors or near water (or areas of high humidity) such as a bath, shower or pool.
  • Ensure the level of the water tank is always above the minimum level (marked). Also ensure it is not filled above the maximum.
  • After the water tank has been filled with water, take care not to lean or bump the appliance.
  • Never place garments or any other object over the air vents.
  • The ice boxes have a cap which could present a choking hazard to young children. The ice boxes also contain a small amount of powder which will help the water to freeze – it is not edible and must not be swallowed. If accidentally swallowed it may upset your stomach. Seek medical advice if accidentally swallowed. Keep the ice boxes away from children.

USING THE APPLIANCE

  • Remove the packaging carefully taking care not to damage the plastic body with the scissors or knife.
  • Secure the wheels tightly into position.
  • Fill the ice box with clean water, so that only 1 cm space remains empty. The ice boxes contain a small amount of powder which will dissolve in the water (the water will form into a jelly like state) helping it to keep frozen. Freeze the ice boxes in a freezer.
  • Pull open the water tank chamber and insert 2 ice boxes into it, then fill the tank with water up to the MAX mark.
  • Push the water tank back into position and secure the lock to prevent it from accidentally opening.
  • Position the unit on a stable, flat, horizontal base ensuring it is well away from any radiating heat sources or naked flames.
  • Insert a CR2025 button cell to the remote control, paying attention to insert the correct way round / polarity. Please note cell batteries are small and could present a choking hazard to young children. Please keep the remote control away from young children.
  • Only connect the Air Cooler unit to the mains after all this has been completed.

Choose the speed
The device has three different fan speed settings: “Low”, “Mid” and “High”.

  • Press the “Low” button to allow the air cooler to work at low speed.
  • Press the “Mid” button to allow the air cooler to work at medium speed.
  • Press the“High” button to allow the air cooler to work at high speed.
  • Press the OFF button to turn off the fan and switch the device off.

Cooling Function (Cooler)
Press the “Cooler” button to activate the cooling function after adding the ice boxes and water into the tank. Do not enable this function if the tank is empty.

Swing
By pressing the swing button, the air control blades can be activated to disperse the outflow of air to the left and right directions. The control blades responsible for directing the airflow up and down must be set manually.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

In order to ensure optimum functioning, it is recommended that the unit is cleaned at least once a month, depending on the frequency of use and condition of the unit.

When cleaning ensure the following is adhered to:

  • Prior to cleaning switch off and power off the unit by unplugging it from the electric mains outlet.
  • Use a slightly moistened cloth to clean the unit’s exterior. Apply gentle pressure and do not use any aggressive cleaners or cleaning cloths.
  • Avoid getting water inside of or onto the electric components of the device.
  • Pull out and clean the inside of the water tank.
  • Using a screwdriver remove the back of the air filter, and take out the cooling pad, clean it gently using a soft brush and damp cloth. To avoid leakage, reassemble the air filter and cooling pad smoothly and carefully.
  • Reinstall the fan.
