SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Please take note of the below safety information before riding your skateboard.
- Always wear your helmet, knee pads, elbow pads and wrist guards along with appropriate flat-soled shoes in case of an accident.
- This board is recommended for users over the age of 16.
- Observe all traffic rules and regulations and be aware of local laws on the use of electric skateboards.
- Do not ride at night
- Always ride within the limits of your capability and build up from the slow speed settings first.
- Do not charge the board in abnormally hot, cold or wet conditions.
- Do not charge your board in a location that could be ignored or forgotten.
- Do not ride the board in wet conditions as this can cause electrical components to short circuit and will not be covered by warranty.
REMOTE CONTROL
- Install 2AAA Batteries into remote
- Always switch off remote when not in use
- Don’t leave batteries in remote unused for extended periods of time
SKATEBOARD
CHARGING
- The Pool Cleaner has a USB port located on the side of the CPU/battery box for charging mobile phones. Do not use this charge port when riding the skateboard.
- Ensure the Pool Cleaner is fully charged before use
- To charge, plug the charger in to the wall socket and turn it on. This should show a green light on the charger.
- Plug the charger into the skateboards charge port located on the side of the CPU/battery box. The light will turn red to indicate charging.
- Once the board is fully charged the light will turn green. Unplug the charger once charging is complete.
- Only use the supplied charger to charge this board. An incorrect charger can damage the battery
- If the board is un-used for an extended period, please top up the charge every month to protect the battery.
BINDING MODE
If your board has lost connection with the remote, or you have had to replace the remote, you will need to re-pair it with the board.
BATTERY INDICATORS
SKATEBOARD OPERATION
- Turn the remote power switch into the on position
- Press the power button on the board
- The power indicator lights on the board will start flashing when remote is connected
- Check the remote is set to the correct speed that suits your capabilities
- Before riding, ensure you have a good posture and balanced centre of gravity
- To accelerate, slowly push the acceleration/brake lever forward in the “speed up” direction. The throttle is proportionally controlled, so the further you move the lever, the faster the board will go.
- To brake, pull the acceleration/brake lever back in the “brake direction”. The brake is proportionally controlled, so the further you move the lever, the more brake you will apply.
MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE
- BATTERY
- The battery is a 36V 108Wh 18650 Lithium lon pack (LiFePO4).
- REAR HUB MOTOR
- If the urethane on the rear hub motor wears down to less than 2mm thick, it is time to replace the outer urethane sleeve.
- WHEEL BEARINGS
- If excess water or dirt get into the wheel bearings, they can start to make a grinding or rubbing noise. Regular cleaning or greasing of the bearings can help prevent this. If wear becomes too much, it is time to replace the bearings.
- BUSHES
- After a period of time, the bushes can age and start to go hard. This can impact on the steering and performance of the board. When this occurs, it is time to replace the bushes.
Specification
*Range, max speed and hill grade are all based on a 70-80Kg persor riding at 14Km/h on flat smooth terrain.
