Product Usage Instructions

  • Turning On/Off the Remote Control
    To turn on the remote control, press and hold the power button for about 3 seconds until the display screen lights up. To turn off the remote control, press and hold the power button for about 3 seconds until the screen turns off.

  • Automatic Turn Off
    The remote will turn off automatically in 30 seconds if not connected to the board.

  • Display Contents
    The display shows various information including power levels, total mileage, current speed, and settings.

  • Q: How do I pair the remote with the board?
    A: Firstly, turn on the board and then press and hold the power button on the board for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode. Turn on the remote control, and press and hold the Power and Reverse buttons simultaneously for around 1 second to complete pairing.

  • Q: What do the different battery indicators mean?
    A: The battery indicators show the remaining battery levels for both the board and remote control. For example, 4 bars indicate 100%-75%, 3 bars indicate 75%-50%, and so on.

Operating Instruction

  • Turn on the remote control
    Press and hold the power button for about 3 seconds till the display screen lights up

  • Turn off the remote control
    Press and hold the power button for about 3 seconds till the screen turns off

  • Automatic turn off
    The remote will turn off in 30 seconds automatically if not connected to the board.

  • Display contents
    The power level of the board, the power level of the remote control, ODO total mileage, trip mileage, current speed, forward/reverse speed setting, and brake set.

  • Vibration prompt

    • The remote will vibrate once when powered on and off. If the board disconnects, it will vibrate twice.
    • It will vibrate once when press the power button and reverse button. The remote will keep vibrating if the throttle roller needs calibration.
  • Calibrating the throttle roller
    Turn the remote off. Press and hold both the power button and reverse button at the same time till OK is shown on the screen, this indicates the calibration is complete, if NG is shown, the calibration will need to be re- done.

  • Turn on the light
    Long press the Reverse button when it turns on, and the light will turn on with one vibration

  • Switch forward/reverse
    Double-click the Power button, and it will show FW-BW on the screen, remote will vibrate once for forward and twice for reverse.

  • Pairing
    Firstly, turn on the board and then press and hold the power button on the board for 3 seconds, the light will start flashing to indicate it’s in pairing mode. Turn on the remote control, and press and hold the Power and Reverse button at the same time for around 1 second. Pairing should be complete.

  • Board battery indicator

    • 4 bars indicate 100%-75%
    • 3 bars indicate 75%-50%
    • 2 bars indicate 50%-25%
    • 1 bar indicates 25%-5%,
      The last bar flashing 10%-0%
  • Remote battery indicator

    • 4 bars indicate 100%-75%
    • 3 bars indicate 75%-50%
    • 2 bars indicate 50%-25%
    • 1 bar indicates 25%-5%,
      Once power is lower than 5%, the remote control can only control the brake and cannot control acceleration.
  • Cruise mode
    The cruise control mode is defaulted to 5-50kms, during acceleration, short press the Power button, and CRU will show and enter cruise control mode, push to accelerate and brake, and press the Power button to cancel cruise control mode.

  • Accelerate/brake
    Push the roller to the front to increase power and then pull it backwards to activate the brake.

  • Switching speed
    When the board is not moving, short press the Reverse button to switch through the 4 speeds, LO – low speed, MI – medium speed, HI – high speed, and Pro is top speed

  • Adjust brake settings
    When the board is not moving, pull the roller backward and keep holding, press the Reverse button to switch through the 4 brake settings, B-LO – low brake force, B-MI – medium brake force, B-HI – high brake force, and B-Pro – sports shift.

  • Charge the remote control
    Micro-USB is used to charge the remote control, the RM icon will indicate the charging status.

  • Power protection of remote control

    • When the power level is lower than 5%, the throttle will stop working, brakes will still function. The remote will automatically turn off when the power level of the remote control is lower than 1%.
    • Note: When the power level of the remote is lower than the last bar, it is recommended for users to charge immediately to avoid any damage caused by lithium battery over-discharging.
  • Loss of signal
    If the remote signal is lost, while the remote control is in acceleration, it will stop accelerating and free roll. If the remote is in braking mode, it will continue to brake for 1 second after signal loss, it will not be affected if the remote re-connects within 1 second. After 1 second, if the remote is still not connected the board will free-roll.
