Make sure the arrow on the bracket is facing up toward the top of your TV. A variety of screws are included for different VESA standards on the backs of most displays. Select the appropriate-size screws and washers. Hand-thread the screw to determine the correct diameter.
If the screw is too short, it may not hold the display. If it’s too long, it may damage the display.
If Your TV Has a Flat Back: Install the brackets directly to your TV, using only the screws and washers provided. If the screw is too long, install the spacers between the bracket and your display. You can combine spacers to best fit your display. Then fasten with the screws and washers until secure.
If your display has recessed mounting or a curved back: Install the spacers between the bracket and your display. You can combine spacers to best fit your display. Then fasten with the screws and washers until secure.

It’s highly recommended to perform this step with two people.
Determining which bracket hooks to use to secure your TV to the stand depends on the size of your TV and preferred height of the screen.
