INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Cut out Template printed on Page 2 and mark holes to be drilled using the template. If you only intend to install one shield, decide which end best suits your purpose. Note: See Page 3 for template placement.

Using a 21/64” up to 3/8” bit, drill the holes through your plow blade in marked locations.
Note: It is always best practice to drill a smaller pilot hole before drilling a large hole in steel. -
Install the UPPER (A), MIDDLE (B) and LOWER (C) brackets to the side shield using the 1” carriage bolts and nuts. See Figure 2 for bracket difference chart. Side Shield has a notch (D) that indicates the bottom. This notch allows clearance for the wear bar. See Figure 3 for proper right and left install.
Note: these brackets have specific angles for each location and can NOT be installed in a different location, also the shield can NOT be installed upside down. -
Install Side Shield Assembly to plow blade using carriage bolts and nuts. The UPPER and MIDDLE brackets will use 1” carriage colts (E) and the LOWER bracket will use the 1-1/4” carriage bolt (F).
