Tips and Advice on Frothing Milk

  • When preparing coffee drinks with milk, we recommend starting the frother first and preparing the coffee drink while the milk is frothing.
  • A richer foam is achieved when using chilled whole milk (fat content 3% or more).
  • Cold milk is not cooled during frothing.
  • The milk is heated to a temperature of approximately 65°C (± 5°C). It is the ideal temperature to ensure the perfect taste of your coffee.
  •  Clean the jug and frothing attachment after each use to prevent the formation of unwanted odours.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Make sure the frother is switched off before cleaning and maintenance. Disconnect the power plug from the mains socket and allow it to cool completely.
  • For hygiene reasons, the jug should be cleaned after each use. Otherwise, there is a risk of the milk residue drying out, which can cause unpleasant odours and the formation of unwanted micro-organisms that can be harmful to health.

Warning: Do not immerse the appliance, power cord or plug in water or any other liquid. There is a risk of electrical injury.

Note: Do not use any abrasive or chemical cleaners, benzene, solvents, alcohol, etc. for cleaning. Do not use wire cloths or other tools that may scratch the surface.

Cleaning the Jug and Lid

  • Remove the seal from the rim of the lid and remove the frothing attachment from the jug.
  • Wash the jug, frothing attachment, lid and silicone seal in warm water with a little kitchen detergent. Rinse and wipe dry.
  • The jug and lid can be washed in the dishwasher in the upper basket.

Frother Base

  • Wipe the base with a soft sponge slightly dampened in warm water. Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

Storage

  • Before storing, clean the frother according to the instructions above.
  • Store the frother in its original box or other packaging in a dry and shady place out of reach of children and pets.
