INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

  1. Take the appliance out of the box and make sure to remove all packaging and film.
  2. Fill the water tank up to the „MAX“ mark. The maximum tank volume is 170 ml.
  3. Plug the power cord into the power outlet, the LED will light up red and the appliance begins heating for 20 seconds. Next, the LED will light up blue, indicating the appliance is ready to use.
  4. You may notice an odour coming from the appliance during the first few cycles. This is completely normal and the odour should disappear after a few ironing cycles.
  5. Hold the trigger (7) to release steam. Move the trigger (7) to the locked position for continuous steam release.
  6. When the appliance is not in use, unplug the power cord from the mains.
  7. When steaming vertically, do not tilt the appliance more than 90° as water may leak from the filling hole of the water tank. Ensure the sole plate is always perpendicular to the ironing surface.
  8. If you are ironing sturdier material, such as a coat, use the brush attachment to help the steam penetrate deeper and iron out tougher creases.

TIP: For dresses with appliqués, lace, embroidery and sequins, do not place the steamer directly on the surface, but keep at least some distance away.
TIP: Remove creases from clothes more easily by laying out the clothes properly after washing. Hang clothes on hangers so they dry with fewer creases.
TIP: For clothes with tough creases or thick, very wrinkled material, we recommend using a conventional iron.

DRY IRONING

Dry ironing does not require the release of steam. When the steamer is used in conjunction with this function, the sole plate reaches temperatures of up to 155 °C. We do not recommend using the function on material that is not resistant to such high temperatures.

AUTO-OFF FUNCTION

  1. The appliance switches itself off when it has not been in use for more than 8 minutes, after which time the LED will flash red and the appliance will stop heating. As soon as you press the trigger (7), the heating process starts again.
  2. If the trigger (7) is left in the locked position, the appliance will switch itself off after 8 minutes. The LED will then flash red and the appliance will stop heating.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  1. Unplug the appliance from the mains.
Caution: The sole plate is hot after use. Allow it to cool for at least 30 minutes before cleaning and maintenance, otherwise there is a risk of injury.

  2. Empty the water tank after each use.

  3. Use a clean, dry or slightly damp cloth to clean the main unit.

Note: When cleaning, never submerge the appliance or place it under running water.
Caution: Do not use abrasive cleaners or wire brushes to clean the sole plate as this could damage it. TIP: When storing or travelling, keep the steamer in the heat-resistant and stylish Lauben bag included.
