Getting Started:

Install Batteries

  1. Open the battery compartment cover and insert the rechargeable battery according to the correct polarity symbols.
  2. Close the cover.

Rechargeable Battery Charging

  1. When a rechargeable battery is discharged, insert it into the battery charger according to the correct polarity symbols.
  2. Connect the battery charger to the AC power supply using the power cable and power adapter.
  3. Charge the battery for at least 4 hours before first-time use.
  4. The charging indicator will flash during charging and glow blue steadily when charging is complete.

FAQ

Q: Can I use this device to look directly at the Sun?

A: No, never look directly at the Sun or other bright light sources through this device as it may cause permanent retinal damage and blindness.

Never, under any circumstances, look directly at the Sun, another bright source of light, or at a laser through this device, as it may cause PERMANENT RETINAL DAMAGE and may lead to BLINDNESS.

Getting started

Install batteries
Open the battery compartment cover and insert the rechargeable battery according to the correct polarity symbols. Close the cover.

Rechargeable battery charging
When a rechargeable battery is discharged, insert it into the battery charger according to the correct polarity symbols. Connect the battery charger to the AC power supply using the power cable and power adapter. Prior to using the rechargeable battery for the first time, charge it for at least 4 hours. During charging, the charging indicator flashes; when the charging is completed, the charging indicator steadily glows blue.

Button panel and device settings

POWER button

Button functions: 1) turns the device on/off; 2) enters and exits the menu; 3) confirms the selection.
Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds to turn the device on or off.
Turn the focusing wheel to adjust the focus on the viewed object. Turn the diopter adjustment ring to make the words and icons on the display clearer. Press the Power button to enter the menu. Use the Left and Right buttons to scroll the menu. Press the Power button to confirm the selection.

Left button
Button functions: 1) adjusts the digital zoom; 2) scrolls the menu left; 3) scrolls the parameters values down.
In the main screen, press the Left button to adjust the zoom (1х, 2x, 4x, 8x), the digital magnification value will be displayed in the upper right corner of the screen. Press the Power button to confirm.

Right button
Button functions: 1) adjusts the color mode, 2) scrolls the menu right; 3) scrolls the parameters values up.
In the main screen, press Right button to switch the color mode (white hot, black hot, red hot, fusion). Press the Power button to confirm.

Menu options
In the main screen, press the power button to enter the menu. Using the Left and Right button, you can select the required option.

Flat Field Correction
This function helps to enhance digital processing of images. It reduces the artefacts occurred due to changes in thermal sensitivity of the image sensor pixels and the artefacts occurred due to distortions on the optical path. You can select FCC Close (Close the Flat Field Correction window), FFC Automatic (Automatic Flat Field Correction), FFC External Correction (Manual Flat Field Correction) options. If you select the Automatic Flat Field Correction option, the device will automatically correct the image taking into account the ambient temperature. If you select the Manual Flat Field Correction option (manual shutter correction), the device will correct the image taking into account the temperature of the camera of the monocular. Close the objective lens cap, then adjust the brightness and contrast of the image background by pressing the Left and Right buttons to adjust the correction degree to see the image details with different temperature values, then open the objective lens cover again. Press the power button to save the changes.

Reticle adjustment. Calibration
To change the reticle shape, select the Reticle type option in the menu, then you can select 1 of 6 types of reticles. Сhange the reticle coordinate values (X:000, Y:000) using the Left and Right buttons to align the reticle center with the target center. Press and hold the Power button to return to the menu, then select the Save (Save) icon and press the power button to save the changes.

Do not expose the device to shock, continuous vibrations, or extreme high or low temperatures. If a part of the device or battery is swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.

Battery safety instructions

Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use. Always replace the whole set of batteries at one time; taking care not to mix old and new ones, or batteries of different types. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation. Make sure the batteries are installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ and –). Remove batteries from equipment that is not to be used for an extended period of time. Remove used batteries promptly. Never short-circuit batteries as this may lead to high temperatures, leakage, or explosion. Never heat batteries in order to revive them. Do not disassemble batteries. Remember to switch off devices after use. Keep batteries out of the reach of children, to avoid risk of ingestion, suffocation, or poisoning. Utilize used batteries as prescribed by your country’s laws.
