Product Usage Instructions
Step 1: Remove Plastics
- Remove the center plastic in the cargo compartment to access the bus bar using the T-25 Torx bit.
- Remove the clutch side panel (two plastic rivets).
Step 2: Connect Diagnostic Connector & Power Leads
- Remove the diagnostic connector cover and plug the integrated connector into the reverse light wiring harness.
- Connect positive leads to the positive terminal of the bus bar and negative leads to the negative terminal.
Step 3: Mount Controller, Relay, & Fuse
Secure controller, relay, and fuse. Use the drilling template provided and
tighten components with machine screws.
Step 4: Mount Light
- Attach the light to its bracket. Slide the bolt through the bracket before attaching it to the light. Attach light bracket to mounting bracket.
- Remove the nut on the right side and fix the left side with the provided 1-1/2 bolt.
Step 5: Route Power to Light
- Run wire and connector along the stock wiring harness back to the reverse light, securing with zip ties as needed.
- Plug in the reverse light.
Step 6: Reinstall Plastics
Operation of Reverse Lights
- Our controllers have a manual override feature. Back-up lights can be turned on without the vehicle in reverse.
- To turn the light off, repeat the procedure. Note that if the ignition is turned off while the vehicle is in reverse or the manual override function is enabled, the lights will remain on until the ECU enters sleep mode (approximately 30 seconds – 2 minutes).

Installation Instruction
Step 1: Remove Plastics
- Remove the center plastic in the cargo compartment to access the bus bar using the T-25 Torx bit.

Our controllers have been programmed with a manual override feature. Back-up lights may be turned on without the vehicle in reverse.
- Fully Automatic When Shifted to Reverse
- No programming needed

- Shift the vehicle into neutral
- Press the reverse override button once. The reverse light will turn on and remain on.
To turn the light off repeat this procedure.
Note:
If the ignition is turned off while the vehicle is in reverse, or the
manual override function is enabled, the lights will remain ON until the ECU
enters sleep mode (approximately 30 seconds – 2 minutes depending on vehicle
and ECU type).
