Product Usage Instructions
Step 1: Mount Lights
- Attach light bracket to light and tighten Allen bolt.
- Remove the door bolts (13mm) and mount the bracket as shown.
- Bolt the light bracket to the mounting bracket.
- Remove the Torx bolt, pull back the plastic, and feed the light connector into the cab.
- Reinstall the Torx bolt.
Step 2: Routing Wires
- Remove the two plastic plugs and pull the head-liner loose.
- Run the wire cross-member behind the headliner, securing it sufficiently, and plug in the connectors.
- Continue to run the wire down the driver’s side door along the OEM harness using Christmas Tree Zip Ties to fasten the wire.
- Run the wire behind the seat and through the grommet into the battery storage area.
Step 3: Connect Diagnostic Connector & Power Leads
- Push the relay terminal into the remaining slot of the relay holder; then plug the relay in.
- Remove the diagnostic connector cover and plug in a connector that comes with a reverse light wiring harness.
- Connect the positive lead to the positive terminal of the battery and the negative lead to the negative terminal using supplied locknuts.
Step 4: Secure Controller, Relay, & Fuse
Secure the fuse, controller, and relay using zip ties.

Installation Instruction
Step 1: Mount Lights
- Attach light bracket to light and tighten Allen bolt.
- Remove the door bolts (13mm) and mount the bracket as shown below.
- Bolt the light bracket to the mounting bracket.
- Remove the Torx bolt, pull back the plastic, and feed the light connector into the cab.
- Reinstall Torx bolt

- Run the wire behind the seat and through the grommet into the battery storage area.

- Push the relay terminal into the remaining slot of the relay holder; then plug the relay in.
- Remove the diagnostic connector cover and plug in a connector that comes with the reverse light wiring harness.
- Connect the positive lead to the positive terminal of the battery and the negative lead to the negative terminal using supplied locknuts.
Step 4: Secure Controller, Relay, & Fuse
Secure the fuse, controller, and relay using zip ties.
Operation of Reverse Lights
Our controllers have been programmed with a manual override feature. Back-up lights may be turned on without the vehicle in reverse.
- Fully Automatic When Shifted to Reverse
- No programming needed
Manual Override
- Put the vehicle in neutral.
- Press and hold the brake pedal for up to 2 seconds. The reverse light will automatically turn on and stay on.
To turn the light off repeat this procedure.
Note:
If the ignition is turned off while the vehicle is in reverse, or the manual
override function is enabled, the lights will remain ON until the ECU enters
sleep mode (approximately 30 seconds – 2 minutes depending on vehicle and ECU
type).
