Step 1 : Mount Light s

Attach light bracket to light and tighten Allen bolt.

Remove the door bolts (13mm) and mount bracket as shown below.

Bolt the light bracket to the mounting bracket.

Remove Torn bolt, pull back plastic and feed the light connector into cab.

Reinstall Torn bolt
Step 2 : Routing Wires

Remove the two plastic plugs and pull head-liner loose.

Run the wire cross-member behind the headliner, securing it sufficiently, and plug in the connectors.

Continue to run the wire down driver’s side door along the OEM harness; if there are no preexisting wires, use Christmas Tree Zip Ties to fasten the wire as shown below (yellow circles).

Run wire behind seat and through grommet into battery storage area.
Step 3: Connect Diagnostic Connector & Power Lead
- Push relay terminal into remaining slot of relay holder; then plug relay in.
- Remove diagnostic connector cover and plug in connector that comes with reverse light wiring harness.
- Connect positive lead to positive terminal of battery and negative lead to negative terminal using supplied locknuts
Step 4: Secure Controller, Relay, & F us e
- Secure the fuse, controller, and relay using zip ties.
Operation of Reverse Lights
Our controllers have been programmed with a manual override feature. Back-up lights may be turned on without the vehicle in reverse.
Fully Automatic When Shifted to Reverse
- No programming needed
Manual Override
- Put the vehicle in neutral.
- Press and hold the brake pedal for up to 2 seconds. The reverse light will automatically turn on and stay on.
- To turn the light off repeat this procedure.
Note: If the ignition is turned off while the vehicle is in reverse, or the manual override function is enabled, the lights will remain ON until the ECU enters sleep mode (approximately 30 seconds – 2 minutes depending on vehicle and ECU type).
