Safety instructions

  • Children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge should only use the appliance if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and maintenance work must not be carried out by children without supervision.
  • Children must not play with the device. Keep the unit and power cord away from children under 8 years of age. Never leave the device unattended during operation.
  • For safety reasons, do not use accessories that are not recommended/sold by the manufacturer.
  • Device is intended for household use, not for commercial use. Do not operate the device outdoors. It is best to operate the device with a residual current circuit breaker (max. 30 mA).
  • Repairs to the device may only be carried out by a specialist. Improper repairs can result in considerable danger to the user.
  • If the device is misused, operated incorrectly or repaired improperly, no liability can be accepted for any damage that occurs. In this case, the warranty will be voided.
  • Do not insert fingers or objects into the openings of the device. Do not cover device openings.
  • Do not store any corrosive / solvent-containing substances in the device.
  • Packaging materials (e.g. foil bags) must not be left in the hands of children.
  • Switch off unused/unattended devices and pull out the power plug. Do not wrap the power cord around the device. Ambient temperature must not fall below freezing point.
  • Disconnect the power plug in case of malfunctions during use, before cleaning, relocation or after use.
  • Check the device/mains cable/extension cable for damage. Never operate damaged devices (incl. power cords) – have them repaired/replaced by the manufacturer, its service center or qualified specialists. Never open the unit yourself – the risk of injury!
  • Do not operate/connect the unit to a timer or remote switch.
  • Do not block unit openings/fans/airflow. Keep a minimum distance of 10 cm to the walls at the rear.
  • Operate the device only at a professionally installed socket with the correct voltage. Mains connection: The voltage must correspond to the specifications on the type plate of the device.

WARNING:

  • Fire hazard / flammable substances. Do not damage the refrigerant circuit
  • Allow 1 to 2 hours of activation time. Plug must remain accessible at all times.
  • This device contains a flammable foaming agent (cyclopentane). Do not operate near fire.
  • Danger! The refrigerant R600a in the refrigeration circuit is harmful to health and highly flammable. If the liquid leaks, remove all ignition sources and avoid contact!

Disposal

  • Recycle the device, accessories, and packaging in an environmentally friendly manner. This symbol on the device or on the packaging indicates that the device must not be treated as unsorted municipal waste but must be disposed of separately. Dispose of the device at a collection point for the recycling and disposal of electrical and electronic equipment within the EU and in other European countries that have systems for the separate collection of electrical and electronic equipment. By disposing of the equipment correctly, you will help to avoid potential hazards to the environment and health that may be caused by improper treatment of waste equipment. Recycling of materials helps to preserve natural resources. Immediately dispose of equipment with a dangerous defect and ensure that it can no longer be used. This device is subject to the European Directive 2012/19/EU. Observe the currently applicable regulations. In case of doubt, contact your disposal facility. If you replace the device with a new one, the seller is legally obliged to accept the old one for disposal at least free of charge. The following applies to the German market: When purchasing a new device, you have the right to return the corresponding old device to your dealer. Dealers of electrical and electronic equipment with a sales area of at least 400 square meters, as well as food retailers with a sales area of at least 800 square meters, who regularly sell electrical and electronic equipment, are also obligated to take back old equipment free of charge, even without purchasing a new device, if the old equipment is not larger than 25 cm in any dimension. Ask your local dealer about the take-back options.

After use

Change the door hinge

  • Remove two screws at the back of the upper cover.
  • Detach the hinge and remove the door.
  • Remove the bottom hinges as well as the feet.
  • Remove the hinge pin, turn the bracket over, and reassemble it.
  • Reassemble the hinges, feet, and door, ensuring everything closes properly.
  • Rotate the door gasket.

Important advice

  • First, cool down warm foods, and only then put into the appliance.
  • Do not open appliances more often than necessary. Do not keep the door open longer than necessary.

Cleaning

  • Always unplug the power plug before cleaning. Remove the shelves and compartments (see below).
  • Clean off with hot water, and dry afterward
  • Can be wiped with a damp cloth, then dried. Do not use scourers or solvents

Warranty information

For this device, we offer you a 5-year warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty covers the replacement or repair of a device with material or manufacturing defects. An exchange on a new device or the return with refund of the purchase amount is not possible. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, industrial use, alteration of the original condition, cleaning work, the consequences of improper handling or damage by the buyer or third parties, damage due to external circumstances or caused by batteries. The warranty requires that the defective device is present with the warranty card dated and signed by the point of sale. If the problem is not solved by phone, you will be contacted by the carrier so that you can make an appointment with him. The forwarder will replace the device directly on-site.
