IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

READ THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL CAREFULLY BEFORE USE AND RETAIN IT FOR LATER REFERENCE!
WARNINGS

  1. Please read and keep the following instructions before using the product. The original instructions are in Hungarian language.
  2. Children under the age of 3 should be kept away from the device unless they are under constant supervision. Children over 3 years of age and under 8 years of age should only be allowed to switch the appliance on/off if it is placed and installed in its normal operating position, and they are under supervision or instructed in the safe use of the appliance and understand the hazards of use.
  3. This appliance should not be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lacking experience and knowledge, or by children aged 8 years and over, unless they are under supervision or instructed in the safe use of the appliance and understand the hazards involved. Children should not play with the appliance. Children should not be allowed to clean or carry out user maintenance on the appliance unless supervised. WARNING: Some parts of this appliance may become very hot and cause burns. Special care should be taken when children and vulnerable people are present.
  4. Attention! Do not use this heater in small rooms occupied by persons who are unable to leave the room independently, unless constant supervision is provided.
  5. To reduce the risk of fire, keep fabrics, curtains or any other combustible material at least 1 m away from the air outlet.
  6. Make sure that the device has not been damaged during transportation!
  7. Do not use the device if it has been dropped!
  8. Do not use the device if there is visible damage!
  9. Do not place directly in a corner, observe the minimum clearances shown in Figure 2! Observe the safety regulations in force in your country.
  10. The appliance must not be used in conjunction with a programme switch, time switch or separate remote-controlled systems, etc., which can switch on the appliance independently, as the possible covering or incorrect positioning of the appliance may cause a fire hazard.
  11. The appliance is intended to be used for air heating only, not for general heating purposes.
  12. The protective grid can be hot!
  13. Do not use where flammable vapours or explosive dust may be released! Do not use in flammable or explosive atmospheres!
  14. Can only be operated under constant supervision!
  15. Do not operate near children without supervision!
  16. For use in dry indoor conditions only! Keep away from humid environments (e.g. bathrooms, swimming pools)!
  17. DO NOT use near a bathtub, sink, shower, swimming pool or sauna!
  18. The device must not be placed directly under a mains socket!
  19. Do not use the device in vehicles or in confined spaces (< 25 m) (e.g. lifts)!
  20. If you are not going to use the device for a longer period of time, switch it off and then unplug the power cord. Store the appliance in a dry, cool place.
  21. Always disconnect the heater before moving it!
  22. The device may be moved by its plastic carrying handle.
  23. If you notice any abnormalities (e.g. you hear an unusual noise coming from the appliance or smell a burning smell), switch it off and disconnect the power immediately.
  24. Make sure that no objects or liquids enter the appliance through the openings.
  25. Protect from dust, humidity, sun and direct heat!
  26. Disconnect the appliance by pulling out the plug before cleaning!
  27. Never touch the device or the connection cable with wet hands!
  28. It should only be connected to a 230 V~ / 50 Hz grounded wall socket!
  29. Unwind the connection cable completely!
  30. Route the connection cable on the ground so that it is not exposed to the radiant heat of the appliance.
  31. Do not run the connecting cable through the appliance or near air inlets and outlets!
  32. Do not run the connection cable under carpets, mats, etc.
  33. Do not use an extension cord or power strip to connect the appliance!
  34. Place the appliance so that the plug is easily accessible and can be pulled out.
  35. Route the connection cable so that it cannot be accidentally disconnected or tripped over!
  36. Private use only, no industrial use allowed!

Meaning of symbol on appliance: Do not cover!
Covering the unit can cause overheating, fire or electric shock!

Caution : Risk of electric shock!
Do not attempt to disassemble of modify the unit or its accessories. In case any part is damaged, immediately power off the unit and seek the assistance of a specialist.

In the event that the power cable should become damaged, it should only be replaced by the manufacturer, its service facility or similarly qualified personnel.

COMMISSIONING

  1. Carefully remove the packaging material before use to avoid damaging the appliance or the connecting cable. Do not put into service if damaged in any way!
  2. The appliance should only be used in dry, indoor conditions!
  3. Remove the device from the box.
  4. Screw the supplied feet to the bottom of the heater (Figure 3) using 2 small screws per foot.
  5. Set them on their feet on a solid, level surface!
  6. Free flow of warm air must be ensured for operation, so observe the minimum clearances shown in Figure 2.
  7. The switches of the appliance must be in the off position!
  8. Plug the device into a standard grounded wall outlet! The device is now ready for use.

CLEANING, MAINTENANCE

Cleaning the appliance may be necessary at intervals depending on the level of contamination, but at least once a month to ensure optimal performance.

  1. Before cleaning, switch off the appliance and disconnect the power by pulling out the plug.
  2. Allow the appliance to cool down (min. 30 minutes).
  3. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush to clean the metal protective grille.
  4. Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the outside of the appliance. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents! Do not get water inside the appliance or on the electrical components!

TROUBLESHOOTING

Error phenomenon Possible solution to the error

The appliance is not heating in heating mode.

| Check the mains power supply.
Check the thermostat settings.
Overheating protection may have been activated.
The turbo fan is not working.| Check the setting of the switches.
Overheat protection is activated frequently.| Clean the appliance.

DISPOSAL
Waste equipment must be collected and disposed separately from household waste because it may contain components hazardous to the environment or health. Used or waste equipment may be dropped off free of charge at the point of sale, or at any distributor which sells equipment of identical nature and function. Dispose of product at a facility specializing in the collection of electronic waste. By doing so, you will protect the environment as well as the health of others and yourself. If you have any questions, contact the local waste management organization. We shall undertake the tasks imposed upon the manufacturer pursuant to the relevant regulations and shall bear all associated costs arising from such.

USE
When you first switch it on, you may smell a slight odour, which is natural. It is harmless and will disappear quickly.
The red indicator light on the appliance will light up if the set thermostat value exceeds the room temperature.
Use the mode switch to choose from:

The turbo fan blows warm air upwards from the unit to speed up the heating of the room.

You can use the thermostat (6) to set a constant room temperature. The unit will switch on as soon as the air temperature falls below the set value. Once the set temperature is reached, the unit switches off. If you want a higher temperature, turn the knob of the thermostat clockwise, if you want a lower temperature, turn it counter-clockwise.

Overheat protection switches the appliance off in the event of overheating, e.g. when covering air inlets and outlets. Switch off the power by pulling out the plug. Allow the appliance to cool down (min. 30 minutes). Check that the air inlets and outlets are clear; clean if necessary. Put the appliance back into operation. If the overheating protection is still activated, disconnect the appliance from the power supply by pulling out the plug and contact a specialist service centre.
