CABLING AND FIRST SETUP

5.1. Mains Cable
Make sure that the voltage of your power wall socket 100-240Vac – 50/60 Hz (+/- 10%) before switching on the system.
Connect the speaker with the supplied power mains cable to the wall socket before switching on the system. Disconnect the CHECKLINE speaker from the wall socket / mains supply, if the system has been switched off.
Note: If you happen to lose the AC line-cord, always use a three-pin plug with a ground pin. The wire correspondence is as follow:

Cable Pin International
Brown Live L
Blue Neutral N
Yellow/Green Earth

** Always connect the earth! Pay attention to your safety!
Before taking into operation for the first time, the installation has to be approved by an expert.
5.2. Signal Cables**
You will need several cables for the various connections to and from the speaker. All signal cables should be connected or disconnected only if the speaker is switched off.
Use shielded cables only. Do not use damaged cables. Damaged or wrong type of cables could destroy parts or the whole system. Check your cables before you use the system.
See the pictures below that show the internal wiring of these cables. Be sure to use only high quality cables. In case unbalanced equipment to balanced inputs. Use either mono and stereo jack, making sure ring and collar are connected together (or pins 1 & 3 in the case of XLR connectors).

DSP OPERATION

CHECKLINE Series Stage Monitors are equipped with DSP audio processor which, in addition to acting as a limiter with control of dynamics, signal overloads, and overheating of the amplifiers, allows you to change the frequency response, recall the factory presets or create 5 user-customized presets, add a delay of up to 100 meters.
The DSP control panel is composed of a graphic LCD display and a wheel with Push-toEnter function to confirm the operations.
WARNING: before switching on the unit, take care that the correct input mode (MIC or LINE) is selected (see “4.2. CHECKLINE 10A Front Panel” on page 7. or “4.3. CHECKLINE 12A-15A Front Panel” on page 8 for further details).
