Safety Information

WARNING: Please follow all of these instructions to ensure the safety of your child. Keep these instructions for future reference.
WARNING: Failure to follow these instructions could result in serious injury or death. Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out, always use the safety harness and insure that the children are properly positioned according to these instructions.
WARNING: Never leave children unattended.

Stroller accommodates 2 children max. Do not exceed

  • The Front / Rear Stroller Seat is designed for a child who is at least 6 months and is not over 40 inches (102 cm) tall. Max. weight 40 pounds (18.1 kg) each. Use of the stroller with (2) children weighing more than 40 pounds (18.14 kg) each will cause excessive wear and stress on the stroller and may cause a hazardous unstable condition.
  • The rear stand on platform and jump/rear seat are designed for a child who is at least 2 1/2 years old and is not over 40 inches (102 cm) tall. Max. weight 40 pounds (18.1 kg) each.
  • Purses, shopping bags, parcels, diaper bags or accessory items may change the balance of the stroller and cause a hazardous, unstable condition.
  • The maximum weight that can be carried in the storage basket is 5 lb. (2.26 kg), parent tray and child tray is 3 lb. (1.36 kg). Seat Belt storage pocket: To store seat belt only, maximum weight is 1 lb. (0.45 kg). Excessive weight may cause a hazardous unstable condition.
  • Be certain the stroller is completely opened and locked in place before allowing a child near the stroller.
  • NEVER use the stroller on stairways or escalators.
  • NEVER allow your stroller to be used as a toy.
  • To clean use only mild household soap or detergent and warm water on a sponge or clean cloth.
  • Check your stroller for loose screws, worn parts, torn material or stitching on a regular basis. Replace or repair parts as needed.
  • Discontinue use of stroller should it malfunction or become damaged. Please contact our customer service department to arrange for repair or obtain replacement parts.

PARTS

Check that you have all the parts for this model before assembling the stroller.

ASSEMBLY

IMPORTANT

  • To ensure safe operation of your stroller, please follow these instructions carefully. Please keep these instructions for future reference.
  • Before assembly and each use, inspect this product for damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts or sharp edges. NEVER use if any parts are missing or broken.
  • Adult assembly is required.

Remove stroller from box. The front wheels, rear wheels, child tray, and parent tray MUST be installed prior to use.

FRONT WHEELS

To attach the front wheels, unfold stroller as described in the section following:

  1. Unlock the release lever (Fig. 1a).
    • Unfold stroller frame by sliding the thumb trigger to the left and squeezing the pull trigger while pulling backward on the stroller handle (Fig. 1b).
    • To attach the front wheels, lean the stroller back so that it rests on the handle with the front and rear legs pointing upward. Position the front wheels over the front leg tubes so that the hole in the housing lines up and will slide onto the legs (Fig. 1c). Firmly push down until the wheels lock securely into place.
    • NOTE: Tug on each wheel to ensure they are both securely attached.

REAR WHEELS

  • Position rear axle over the rear leg tubes, brake pedals facing the back. At the same time, push down applying equal pressure to both sides until they lock into place (Fig. 2).

NOTE

  • NEVER use the stroller if the wheels do not lock into place. If you need assistance, please contact our customer service department at 1-800-328-7363, M-F, between 8am and 4:30pm, PST.

FOOT REST

  • Push downward on the foot rest until it snaps onto the U-shaped frame cross member (Fig. 3).

CHILD TRAY

WARNING

  • The child’s tray is not a restraint device: always secure your child with the seat belt. DO NOT lift the stroller by the child’s tray. Use care when attaching the child’s tray on the stroller with a child in the stroller.
  • Child cannot sit in stroller when child tray is rotated 90° down. This position is used for car seat installation only.
  1. To attach the child tray: Push the tray downward and onto each side of the front armrests until both side snaps into place (Fig. 4). Repeat the above steps for the rear child tray.
    • NOTE: Check that tray is securely latched in place.
  2. To access the child seat: Pull one side of the release lever (Fig. 5a) located on the underside of the child tray and lift upward. Either side of the child tray will lift and rotate out of the way to allow access to the front and rear seats (Fig. 5b).
  3. To rotate the child tray: In order to attach an infant car seat to the stroller, the child tray must be rotated to the vertical position. Press buttons on both sides of the child tray to rotate down 90 degrees (Fig. 6).
  4. To remove the child tray: Pull both release levers located on the underside of each side of the tray and lift upward (Fig. 7).

CANOPY

  • To attach the front canopy: Line up the male fittings on the canopy with the slots on the armrest and push both fittings downward until snapped into place (Fig.8). To open the canopy, push forward on the front edge of the canopy while holding the rear of canopy in place. To fold the canopy, pull backward on the front edge.
  • To remove the front canopy: Press the snap button under the armrest and pull to release the fitting from the slot. Repeat for the other side.
  • To attach the rear canopy: Press both tabs on the inner side of the upper connection and pull outward to remove canopy rod (9a). Zip the zipper near the Parent Tray (Fig. 9b). Lock upper connection of canopy into locking slots (9c).
  • To remove the rear canopy: Unfasten the hook and loop straps from stroller frame. Unzip the zipper connected in the back of the canopy (Fig. 9b). Press the upper snap buttons (Fig. 9a) located on the outer side of parent tray to release the upper connection, then press both snap buttons on the inner side of the lower connection and pull outward.

NOTE

  • The canopies are only needed when using the seated positions for your children. They are not needed when using with the infant car seats.

PARENT TRAY (IF NEEDED)

  • To attach the parent tray, position the tray so that the hinges for the storage compartment are facing forward. Snap the parent tray to the stand at the top of the frame (Fig. 10).
    • NOTE: Check that the tray is securely latched in place.

BRAKES

WARNING: Always set brakes when the stroller is not being pushed so that the stroller will not roll away. NEVER leave stroller unattended on a hill or incline as the stroller may slide down the hill.

  • To engage brakes, apply light downward pressure to the brake lever located on each rear wheel. The stroller may require slight forward or rearward movement in order to line up the teeth on the brake with each wheel brake cluster (Fig. 11a).
    • NOTE: Check that the stroller will not move and that both brakes are properly applied.
  • To release, gently lift up on the brake lever (Fig. 11b).

WARNING: Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always use the safety harness.

TANDEM STROLLER – 5-POINT HARNESS

  • The shoulder straps of the 5-point harness has 2 attachment positions. Select the loop position that places the shoulder strap level with, or below the top of the child’s shoulder and feed the shoulder harness under the correct loop. To adjust harness slot unhook the shoulder strap from the crotch buckle (Fig. 12a). Feed the shoulder strap through the harness spread slots. You can access these slots from the rear of the seat. Feed shoulder strap through appropriate slot and reattach shoulder strap to crotch buckle.
  • Carefully place the child in the stroller seat and bring the safety harness around the child’s waist and over the shoulders. Place the crotch strap between the child’s legs. Insert the male end of each shoulder/waist belt into the buckle on the crotch strap. Tighten the harness to be snug around the child’s waist and over the child’s shoulders (Fig. 12b).
  • To release, push Button on Center Clasp, the two Harness Buckles will pop free (Fig. 13).
    • NOTE: Buckles may be hard to release when first used.

JUMP SEAT – 3 POINT HARNESS

  • Always use the jump seat – 3-point harness for your safety. See step 23 for types and use details.

PLATFORM – SAFETY BELT

  • Secure the stand feature safety belt behind child and engage buckle (Fig. 15). See step 24. This is the same safety belt you use to secure the rear infant car seat.

TO RECLINE SEATS

WARNING

  • The upright position should be used only for a child that is at least 6 months old.

TO RECLINE SEATS – FRONT SEAT

  • The front seat has a two position recline. To recline the seat, rotate the recline bar and press backward on the seat back (Fig. 16).
  • To place the seat in the upright position, press upward on the seat back while rotating the recline bar.

TO RECLINE SEATS – REAR SEAT

  • To recline the rear seat, locate the plastic adjuster and squeeze the ends. Loosen or tighten the strap to your desired recline position (Fig. 17).

TO ATTACH INFANT CAR SEAT

WARNING

  • When attaching car seats, make sure to first attach the REAR car seat, and then attach the FRONT car seat. When removing, detach the FRONT car seat first, and then detach the rear car seat.
  • To avoid serious injury from falling, ALWAYS use the safety belt to secure both the FRONT and REAR car seats.

COMPATIBLE CAR SEATS

ATTENTION: Compatible car seats can attach on the front and rear seats of the stroller.

  • To attach the infant car seat in the front seating position: Attach the child tray in the front seating position and rotate to the vertical position. Recline the seat back. Position the infant car seat facing toward the rear of the stroller so the seat shell goes into the child tray and latches into place (Fig. 18a).

Infant Car Seat

  • To attach the infant car seat in the rear seating position: First move the canopy completely forward (Fig. 19b). Attach the child tray in the rear seating position and rotate to the vertical position, refer to step 6 if needed. Turn car seat support tabs on the stroller frame (Fig. 19c). Position the infant car seat facing toward the rear of the stroller so the seat shell goes into the child tray and latches into place (Fig. 19a).

    • NOTE: Car Seat Support Tabs are Only used for the infant car seat. Check that the front child tray is firmly attached to the stroller.
  • Check that the infant car seat is firmly locked onto the child tray then STRAP THE SAFETY BELT OVER THE CAR  SEAT through the seat belt slots on the infant car seat, connect the buckles together (Fig. 19a). The safety belts for the infant car seat are located in small pockets on the outer sides of the front and rear seat pads (Fig. 19b). Tighten the strap so the infant car seat fits snug and can’t move. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT THE INFANT CAR SEAT STRAP IS ALWAYS TIGHTLY FASTENED AROUND THE INFANT CAR SEAT. ALWAYS PLACE EACH STRAP INTO THE STORAGE POUCH WHEN NOT IN USE (Fig. 19b).

CAR SEAT REMOVAL

  • Remove the safety belts for the infant car seat. First move the canopy completely forward (Fig. 20b).
  • To remove the Infant Car Seat, squeeze the release handle located at the foot-end of the seat and carefully lift upward on the seat (Fig. 20a).

ALLY CAR SEATS ONLY

  • Remove the safety belts for the infant car seat. To remove the Infant Car Seat, squeeze the release handle located at the Top-rear of the seat and carefully lift upward on the seat (Fig. 20b).

JUMP SEAT

  • Jump Seat: To use jump seat, please remove the rear child tray, rear canopy and rear seat.

WARNING: The rear platform and jump seat are designed to accommodate a child who is at least 2 1/2 years old, has good balance and coordination, and is not over 40 inches

  • To remove the rear seat: Detach the recline strap from the frame by folding and sliding the strap through the “D-ring” located on the end of the strap (Fig. 21a). Unbutton the upper (Fig. 21a) and lower seat fabric from the frame (Fig. 21b). The crotch buckle will fit through the slot. DO NOT remove the crotch strap from the seat.

WARNING

  • Do not use jump seat at this point. The harness strap must be adjusted

To adjust the crotch strap: Adjust the crotch strap for rear facing sitting position.

  • Remove the jump seat pad (Fig. 22a), pull crotch strap towards the rear of the stroller so the crotch strap will be orientated closer to the edge of the jump platform (Fig. 22b).

  • Feed the crotch buckle strap through provided slot (Fig. 22c). Place jump seat pad over the jump seat. Button the jump seat pad flaps to the stroller frame (Fig. 22c).

  • To attach the rear seat, reverse the above steps.

SIT ON JUMP SEAT

  • Have the child sit on the jump seat facing backwards. Secure the child with the jump seat 3-point harness. Part of the 3-point harness is stored in the pocket on the back of the front seat. Put the seat belt around the child’s waist, and buckle to the crotch strap. Adjust the seat belt to be snug around the child’s waist (Fig. 23a).

  • RELEASE! Push the button on the center clasp and the all the harness straps will release (Fig. 23b).

STAND ON THE PLATFORM

  • Position the child on the platform on the back of the stroller. Be sure child is standing facing forward and hands are holding frame. Secure the stand feature safety belt behind child and engage buckle (Fig. 24). Be sure that the child’s feet are fully on the platform at all times

JUMP SEAT

TO FOLD STROLLER

WARNING: Care must be taken when folding and unfolding the stroller to prevent finger entrapment.
CAUTION: Do not allow children near stroller while folding.

  • Close the canopy as described in the canopy section. Rotate the rear tray up (Fig 25a).
  • Pull stroller backward several inches to rotate the front wheels to the front (Fig. 25b).
  • To fold the stroller, slide the fold lock with your thumb while squeezing the large fold button in the center of the handle and push forward on the handle (Fig. 25c).
  • Once the stroller begins to fold, release the handle and push forward on the handle until the stroller is folded. Lock the release lever and the stroller will stand freely in the folded position.

SEAT PAD

  • To clean the seat pad, use only mild household soap or detergent and warm water on a sponge or clean cloth.

OTHER

  • Check your stroller for loose screws, worn parts, torn material or stitching on a regular basis. Replace or repair parts as needed.
