Safe usage information

WARNING : Textiles, curtains, or other flammable materials must always be kept at least 1 meter away from the heating panel.
WARNING : If the heating panel is located on the floor, equipped with a standing frame on casters, a prolonged use, can lead to excessive drying of wooden and wood-derived floor coverings, potentially resulting in floor damage.
NOTE : The housing of the heating panel may still be warm after it has been turned off.

  • Do not use the heating panel in the immediate vicinity of a bathtub, shower, or swimming pool.
  • Do not use the portable heating panel if it has been tipped over.
  • Do not use the heating panel if there are visible signs of damage to the heating panel.
  • Do not cover the heating panel.
  • Do not use the heating panel in small rooms where there are people unable to leave the room on their own unless constant supervision is provided.
  • Do not use the heating panel if the power cord is damaged. The cord must be replaced by the manufacturer or a person with the appropriate qualifications.
  • The heating panel can be used by children aged 8 and older if supervision is provided and they are properly instructed on safe operation.
  • The heating panel is not intended for use by children under the age of 8 and by people with limited physical, sensory, or mental abilities or by inexperienced or unfamiliar individuals, unless they have been previously trained in the operation of this device by someone responsible for their safety.
  • Children are prohibited from leaning against the heating panel while it is in operation. Under certain conditions, its surface poses a risk of skin burns, as a child’s senses are not sufficiently developed or they do not react as quickly as an adult. In case of burn risk, a grate or mesh should be used to prevent direct contact with the heating panel.
  • Children under the age of eight should not press the thermostat control buttons.
  • Children should not clean or maintain the heating panel without parental supervision. All activities related to the maintenance and cleaning of the heating panel should be done safely and with the power turned off.
  • Only qualified personnel are authorized to repair the electrical parts of the heating panel.
  • Do not insert any objects or paper into the heating panel.
  • Upon first use of the heating panel, a slight smell may be detected, which is related to the harmless residues of substances used in the manufacturing of the heating panel.

Installation

Drill holes for the mounting pegs with a diameter of 8 millimeters according to the wall installation instructions or according to the ceiling installation instructions provided with the separately available ceiling frame. Screw the frame in the indicated places. Securely mount the heating panel onto the frame.

  • Optionally, the heating panel can be mounted on a mobile frame with casters, which is sold separately, and serves as a portable heating panel.
  • For wall installation, the heating panel should be installed at a height of no less than 30 cm above the floor level. A minimum of 30 cm of space should be left above the heating panel.
  • The room’s furnishings and structural elements must not obstruct the free propagation of infrared waves from the front of the heater into the room.
  • The electrical outlet powering the heater must be installed in a manner that ensures it is out of reach for children.
  • Do not turn the heating panel power on before the installation is complete.

WARNING! Do not install the HD-WAVE heating panel directly on top of an electrical outlet.

Power Connection
A single heating panel can be connected to an electrical outlet using a power cable. For heating a room with multiple heating panels, it is recommended to connect them to an external thermostat. The thermostat should be selected based on the number of heaters, their technical specifications, and their combined power. Only a qualified electrician with the appropriate credentials should perform the electrical network connection.

Operation of the built-in thermostat

Safe maintenance

WARNING! Turn off the heating panel before cleaning.
WARNING! Do not use compressed air or devices that compress or suction air for cleaning.

Children should not connect the heating panel to electrical outlets or control devices, nor should they undertake the cleaning of the heating panel. When cleaning the heating panel, it’s essential to adhere to safety measures inherent to the maintenance of electrical equipment. The heating panel should be routinely cleaned to remove dust and potential particulates that accumulate on its surface. Abrasive cleaning agents must not be employed. After wiping down with a damp cloth, the apparatus should be thoroughly dried.

Disposal
The HD-WAVE heating panel is subject to selective waste collection obligations. It is prohibited to dispose of used equipment with other household waste. Used, damaged, disassembled, or broken down equipment should be taken to a Selective Municipal Waste Collection Point. The Seller is obligated to offer free collection of the used equipment.

Warranty terms

The Manufacturer guarantees that the heating panels comply with current standards, provided that the Buyer adheres to the conditions relating to their transport, storage, installation, and operation. Upon purchase, it is essential to thoroughly check the appearance of the device and its packaging, with photographic documentation recommended. The Manufacturer reserves the right to refuse warranty service for the Buyer in the event of mechanical damage to the heating panel, which could have resulted from a fall, impact, or if the heating panel’s serial number is missing. The Manufacturer provides a 5-year warranty on the heating element and 2 years on the built-in digital thermostat in HD-WAVE devices that have one. In the absence of a seal and purchase date, the warranty period for the heating panel is counted from the date of production. The lifespan of the heating panel is 30 years. The service life is unlimited if the radiator is stored in a dry and ventilated room with a relative air humidity below 60%, and no more than 20 heating panels are stacked on top of one another. In the event of violating the rules for storage, installation, operation, or handling of HD-WAVE heating panels, claims by Buyers are not accepted. Warranty service for the purchased heating panel is carried out by the Seller.
