WARRANTY

This GLEN Halogen Heater is fully warranted against any defect arising out of defective materials or faulty workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Should any defect develop in this product, the customer should bring the product to the nearest authorized service center, where the company undertakes to get the product repaired free of charge. This warranty is not valid if:

  • The use and care instructions have not been followed.
  • Defects are caused by accident, misuse, abuse, or commercial use.
  • The repair work is carried out by persons not authorized by the company. Any modification or alteration of any nature is made in the product.
  • Normal wear & tear of the product is not covered under the warranty
  • The Bill/Cash memo and copy of the warranty card are not presented.

Under no circumstances, whether based on a limited warranty or otherwise shall the company be liable for incidental, special, or consequential damages. Use of product indicates acceptance by you of the aforesaid terms and conditions.

IDENTIFY YOUR CARBON HEATER

USING YOUR CARBON HEATER
Press the 8 ON-OFF buttons, the center Halogen will switch on (400W). Press the next 0 buttons, the top Halogen will switch on (400W), if you press further the next 0 buttons, the bottom Halogen will switch on (400W). So all the 3 heaters will be on (total 1200W). You can choose these three heat settings to suit the required warmth.
A separate 8 Button is provided if you want to use the swing function for wider distribution of heat.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Always disconnect the heater from the mains supply before cleaning and wait till the item is cool. Clean the outside of the heater with a damp cloth. Clean with the help of a soft brush.
  • DO NOT use waxes or pol is he’s as these may react with the heater and cause d iscoloration.
  • Clean the grill from dust.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

  • Use the appliance only for the mentioned purpose, namely as a radiator for domestic purposes. Do not use it for any other application as it could get dangerous.
  • Never touch the appliance with wet or damp hands or feet.
  • Never expose the appliance to atmospheric conditions (rain, sun, etc.)
  • The appliance must be always placed on a flat and stable surface.
  • Switch the appliance off and unplug it before cleaning.
  • When the appliance is not in use switch it off and unplug it. Make harmless the parts of the appliance which could be handled hazardously by children for playing.
  • Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower, or a swimming pool.
  • Do not put the cable on the appliance when it is still warm
  • A correct operation of the appliance is obtained when the radiator is installed vertically. Do not switch on the fan heater near pieces of furniture, curtains, shelves, etc.
  • Do not use the appliance near liquids or inflammable matters.
  • The appliance must not be located immediately below a socket outlet.
  • In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater
  • In case the power cord is damaged, send it to the nearest after-sale service recommended by the manufacturer for the replacement.
  • This appliance is not intended use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they
  • have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  • Do not connect the appliance to extension cords or multiple outlets.
  • Do not damage and do not twist the power cord.
  • Before cleaning the appliance or carrying out any maintenance switch off the whole system.
  • If the appliance is out of work switch it off without tampering with it, if any repair is required please contact only the after-sale centers approved by the manufacturer and ask for
  • original spare parts. Otherwise, the safety of the appliance can be compromised.
  • Do not use this heater with a programmer, timer, or any other device that switches the heater on automatically, since a fire risk exists if the heater is covered or positioned
  • incorrectly.

Note – As a safety precaution The unit will be automatically cut OFF if it falls on the floor.
