FLAT HOSE REEL

Introduction

We congratulate you on the purchase of your new product.
You have chosen a high quality product. Familiarise yourself with the product before using it for the first time. In addition, please carefully refer to the operating instructions and the safety advice below. Only use the product as instructed and only for the indicated field of application. Keep these instructions in a safe place. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it.

Intended use

The product is not intended for commercial use.
It is suitable to irrigate garden and patio areas and as an organizer for the garden irrigation tools hand carrying.

  •  THIS PRODUCT IS NOT A TOY! This product must nobe used by children.
  • DANGER TO LIFE AND RISK OF ACCIDENTS FOR INFANTS AND CHILDREN! Never leave children unsupervised with the packaging materials. Danger of suffocation. Keep out of the reach of children.
  • CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY! Ensure that all parts are undamaged and have been assembled appropriatelyRisk of injury exists if assembled incorrectly. Damaged parts can effect safety and function.
  •  Have the installation done by experienced persons only.
  • Never block the hose end with your fingers or other objects during use.

CAUTION! DANGER OF SLIPPING!

  • Do not direct the water jet towards electrical equipment!
  • Do not direct the water jet towards persons or animals!
  • The product is not suitable for delivering drinking water.

Using the hose cassette

  • Fit the crank 2a] into the hole on the flat hose cassette 2].
  • Pull out the flat hose 3] from the flat hose cassette 2] completely.

Warning: Do not turn on the water supply if the flat hose is still in the hose cassette. It will cause the damage.

  • Screw the tap connector G¾” (26.5 mm) 1] to the water tap.
  • Connect the adapter of tap connector 1a] with hose connector without water stop 3b].
  • Insert Adapter of water sprayer 4a] into hose connector with water stop 3a].
  • Turn the switch of water sprayer 4b] clockwise as far as it will go to ensure that the spray gun is closed.
  • Turn on the water supply.
  • Hold the water sprayer 4] with one hand and rotate the switch of water sprayer 4b] in anticlockwise direction for the desired spraying pattern.
  • From fine mist spray to powerful jet.

Note: You can adjust the water jet while watering. To do this, hold the water sprayer 4] firmly with one hand and turn the Switch of water sprayer 4b] (clockwise or counterclockwise) with the other hand to adjust the water jet as required.

After use

  • Turn off the water supply.
  • Unscrew the Tap connector G¾” (26.5 mm) 1] from the connection thread of the water tap.
  • Disconnect the Adapter of water sprayer 4a] from the Hose connector with water stop 3a].
  • Disconnect the Adapter of tap connector 1a] from the Hose connector without water stop 3b].
  • Empty water from the flat hose completely.

Storage

  • All parts must be completely dry before storing.
  • Always store the product in a dry place.
  • Protect the product from direct sunlight.
  • Store the product out of the reach of children, safely locked away and at a storage temperature between 5 °C and 20 °C (room temperature).

 Maintenance, cleaning and care

Clean the product using a slightly moist, fluff-free cloth.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.
Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.

Warranty

The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of material or manufacturing defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.
The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Keep the original sales receipt in a safe location as this document is required as proof of purchase.
Any damage or defects already present at the time of purchase must be reported without delay after unpacking the product.
Should the product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our choice – free of charge to you. The warranty period is not extended as a result of a claim being granted. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts.
This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.
The warranty covers material or manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear and tear, thus considered consumables (e.g. batteries, rechargeable batteries, tubes, cartridges), nor damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches or glass parts.

  • Warranty claim procedure
    To ensure quick processing of your case, please observe the following instructions:
    Please have the till receipt and the item number(IAN 446676_2307) available as proof of purchase.
    You will find the item number on the rating plate, an engraving, on the front page of the instructions for use (bottom left), or as a sticker on the rear or bottom of the product.
    If functional or other defects occur, please contact the service department listed either by telephone or by e-mail.
    You can return a defective product to us free of charge to the service address that will be provided to you. Ensure that you enclose the proof of purchase (till receipt) and information about what the defect is and when it occurred.
