Introduction
Follow the instructions carefully when installing the kayak holder.

Weight and maximum load capacity
IMPORTANT
Always keep the front and rear overhang in mind.
IMPORTANT
Be careful when opening the load compartment as opening it may cause damage.
IMPORTANT
Always remove the kayak holders and load carriers when using an automatic car
wash.
IMPORTANT
Measure the distance between the load carriers.
The minimum distance between the load carriers should be 610mm.
Installation
- Fold up the centre cover.
- Locate the attaching holes.
For installation, WingBar Evo, WingBar and AeroBlade type load carriers require the attached T-track screws only.
Install the four T-track screws in the slots of the load carriers.
The distance between the T-track screws should be equal with the distance
between the holes in the kayak holder.
Install the T-track screws.
Trim the rubber strips to the correct length.
The distance between the T-track screws should be equal with the distance
between the holes in the kayak holder.
Install the kayak holder on the T-track screws as shown in the image above.
Push the four fasteners on the T-track screws.
Turn the fasteners 180° clockwise.
Fold down the fasteners to secure the kayak holders on the load carriers.
Locking the kayak holder:
- Fold up the centre cover.
- Push the lock cylinder with the key in the cylinder hole. Turn the key 45°clockwise to secure the lock cylinder.
- Turn the key 45°anti-clockwise to unlock the kayak holder.
- Fold down the centre cover.
- Lock the centre cover by turning the key 90°clockwise.
- Remove the key from the lock.
Using the kayak holder:

Push down the latch as shown in the image above.

Fold up the kayak holder arm.

Install the protective covers on the securing straps.

Pull the protective cover onto the straps’ clamps.

Lead the strap through the kayak holder arm as shown in the image above.
Put the kayak on the kayak holder.
IMPORTANT
Position the kayak so the front and back overhang is equal.
Relocate the securing straps as shown in the image above.
Secure the kayak to the holder as shown in the image above.
IMPORTANT
Never guide the securing straps outside of the load carriers’ feet.
Lead the front and back securing straps through the securing rings and through
the front and back towing eyes.
Alternatively, you can use the towbar as a rear securing point.
- Lead the strap through the clamp.
- Pull the strap downwards to secure the kayak.
- Pull the protective cover on the clamp.
To remove the kayak, loosen all the securing straps.
Store the straps and the protective covers separately to avoid damage.
Travelling without load:
It is not mandatory to remove the kayak holder when no kayak is secured on it.
- Push down the latch as shown in the image above.
- Fold down the kayak holder arm.
Always lock the kayak holder when you are not using it.
IMPORTANT
Always remove the key from the lock cylinder when the kayak holder is locked.
NOTE
Always fold down the kayak holder arm when travelling without a kayak secured
on it.
Excessive driving noise can occur when driving with the kayak holder arm
folded up.
