Lumens VS-KB30 Joystick Firmware(FW)

Please contact Lumens FAE Department through email to get the proper F W and AP before upgrading.

Device and Tool Preparation

FW of VS-KB30

Please do not change the file name and extension. Wrong file information may cause the FW upgrade failed and unit not work.

Master firmware update

FW File: 0.x.xL. bin
Note : Wrong file extension will cause the FW upgrade failed.

1. Save master firmware to USB flash disk
   • Save the “.bin” firmware file in the root directory (not inside of a folder)
2. Place the flash drive into the USB port on the back panel of the VS-KB30
3. Hold down the L/R Direction knob and click the power button into the “On” position.
4. The keyboard will display a confirmation that the upgrade is starting. (around 10 secs)
5. When keyboard shows “FIRMWARE UPGRADE SUCCEED”, power off unit and reboot.

Webpage firmware update

FW File: V2.x. x. cs f or V A.x.x.img
Note: V2.x.x can’t upgrade to V A.x.x due to the hardware limitation. Please do not change the file name and extension which will cause the FW upgrade failed.

1. Set your PC or laptop and VS-KB30 in the same network.
2. Type IP address of VS-KB30 on browser to access the login page.
3. User：admin
4. Password：default is empty
5. Follow the instruction to upload webpage firmware from PC or laptop.
6. Press start to upgrade the webpage firmware.
7. When keyboard shows “FIRMWARE UPGRADE SUCCEED”, power off unit and reboot.

Check the firmware version.

1. Press “SETUP”, [KEYBOARD SETTING]=>[MODEL INFO] to confirm the firmware version.
