Always observe the following precautions when using ‘the Stand Mixer 1200W’, hereinafter referred to as ‘the product’.

General

• Before first use, remove all packaging material and any stickers.
• Be aware of the risks and consequences associated with improper use of the product. Misuse of the product may result in personal injury and damage to the product.
• Do not disassemble, repair or restore the product. Doing so may cause damage to the product. For your own safety, these parts should only be replaced by authorized service personnel. Always send the product to a service center for repairs to prevent damage and personal injury.
• Use the product only for the purposes indicated in this manual.
• Do not use accessories not offered by the supplier. They may pose a danger to the user and damage the product.
• Before each use, check the parts and accessories for any damage or wear (cracks/ breakage) that may adversely affect performance and, if so, replace them with original or manufacturer-recommended parts and accessories.
• If the product is malfunctioning, dropped or damaged, do not use the product and consult our customer service.
• If this is your first time using the product, it is important to read the manual and instructions carefully.
• Keep the product away from heat, areas where the temperature is relatively high and heat sources such as ovens.
• The product is designed and intended for private use. Do not use the product for commercial purposes.
• Do not insert objects into the openings of the product. Make sure that the moving parts are not blocked and that nothing is trapped.
•  The product is suitable for indoor use only. Do not use the product outdoors. Doing so may result in damage to the product.

Persons

• The product must not be used by children. Use of the product is allowed only when a supervisor is present, responsible for the safety of the user.
• The product must not be used by people with physical or mental disabilities. Use of the product is allowed only when a supervisor is present, who is responsible for the safety of the user.
• Keep the product and cord out of the reach of children.
• To avoid electric shock, do not allow pets or small children to chew on the power cord.
•  Do not allow children to play with the product. Use and store the product out of the reach of children.

Use

• Do not use the product near a bathtub, shower, swimming pool, or near a (laundry) tub filled with water. Do not touch the product or power cord with wet hands. Do not allow the product to come into contact with water. Do not immerse the product in water. If water does get in or on the product, turn the product off immediately and contact our customer service department.
• Never leave the product unattended when in use.
• Always place the product on a horizontal, level, stable and non-flammable surface.
• The product is only suitable for mixing food. Do not use the product to mix other things. Do not insert objects into the rotating parts when the product is on.
• Keep your fingers and hair away from the rotating parts when the product is on. This may cause personal injury.
• The maximum limit of the mixing bowl is 1 kg of dry matter and 500 g of liquid (total 1.5 kg), do not exceed this limit.
• The product may be used for a maximum of 10 minutes. Then the product must cool for 5 minutes before being put back into use.
• Always make sure the speed knob is set to “0” before plugging in.
• Do not use the product if the mixing bowl is empty.
• Unplug the product to turn it off before touching or replacing attachments.

Electronics

• If the power fails during use, turn off the product immediately and unplug the product.
• If the surface of the product is cracked, turn off the product to avoid electric\ shock.
• Check both power cord and plug regularly for signs of damage or wear, and if there is any, do not use the product and have the power cord and/or plug replaced or repaired by authorized service personnel.
• Do not immerse the product, power cord or plug in water. If water does get inside or on the product, turn the product off immediately and contact our customer service department.
• Use and store the product so that the cables cannot be damaged.
• To avoid electric shock, do not use the product if you suspect the power cord or plug is damaged. A damaged power cord or plug should be repaired or replaced by a professional (an authorized distributor).
•  Unplug and turn off the product when not in use and before cleaning the product.
• Do not unplug the product by pulling the power cord. This may cause fire or electric shock.
• If black smoke comes out of the product, unplug the product immediately. Wait until the smoke is gone before removing the contents of the product and contact our customer service department.
• Do not leave the cable(s) hanging over the edge of a table or countertop.
• Do not place the cable(s) on hot surfaces or near oil.
• Do not tuck the cable(s) under rugs or blankets. Never lay the cable(s) in awalkway.
• Do not move the product by pulling the cord or twist the cord.
• Before connecting the product, make sure that the mains voltage indicated on the rating plate matches that of your mains supply.
• Make sure that you do not trip over the cable(s) and that the cable(s) are not kinked, twisted, or stuck.
• Do not leave the product unattended when in use. When not in use, turn the product off and unplug it.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

ATTENTION!

◊ To protect the motor, the product must always cool down for 5 minutes after 10 minutes of continuous use (regardless of speed). After that, it can be used again.

Operation

1. Press the button (A) to tilt the head of the product upward. (fig. 1).

2. Slide the splash cover onto the head of the housing until it is firmly in place (fig. 2).

3. Insert the mixing bowl into the product. Turn the bowl clockwise until it clicks into place (fig. 3).

4. Select the desired accessory and attach it to the accessory attachment point. To do this, place the small recess of the accessory in line with the attachment point,
   push the accessory up and turn it counterclockwise until it clicks into place. (Fig. 4 and 5).

5. Put the ingredients into the mixing bowl. Be careful not to exceed the maximum limit of 1.5 kg (1000 g dry matter and 500 g liquid).

6. Hold down the button (A) and tilt the head of the product downward. (Fig. 6).

7. Make sure the speed knob (B) is set to “0”.

8. Plug in the power cord.

9. Set the speed knob (B) to the desired speed depending on the accessory you are using (see 3.2).

10. Turn the speed knob (B) back to “0” once you have finished mixing. Do not use the product for more than 10 minutes at a time.

11. Unplug the product to turn it off.

12. Press the button (A) to tilt up the head of the product.

13. Remove the bowl and remove the mixture from the bowl with a spatula.

14. Remove the cover and the accessory. To do this, push the accessory upward and turn it clockwise.

15. Clean the bowl and the accessory thoroughly

TROUBLESHOOTING

If the following problems occur while using the product, refer to the table below to find a solution. If the problems cannot be solved using these options, please contact our customer service.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

1. Set the speed dial to “0” and unplug the product.
2. Allow the product to cool down.
3. Remove the accessories.
4. Clean the housing with a damp, clean cloth and dry it thoroughly. Do not use abrasive or harsh cleaning agents.
5. Clean the splash cover with warm water and a neutral detergent.
6. The bowl, whisk, mixing hook and dough hook are dishwasher safe. However, to extend the life of these parts, we recommend washing them by hand as well.

STORAGE

1. Set the dial to “0” and unplug the product.
2. Let the product cool down and clean it thoroughly before storing it.
3. Store the product in a dry, clean place. Do not store the product in extremely high or low temperatures.

DISPOSAL AND RECYCLE

Think about the environment and contribute to a cleaner living environment! You can contact your local council for all information on disposal options for discarded products.

Disposal

At the end of its life, do not dispose of the product with normal household waste, but hand it in at a government-designated collection point for recycling.
Dispose of the packaging and accessories in accordance with the environmental regulations in force in your local council. Pay attention to the symbols on the different packaging materials and – if necessary – dispose of them separately. The packaging materials are marked with letters and numbers: 1-7: plastic, 20-22: paper and cardboard, 80-98 composite materials.

Electric appliance

The symbol shown here with the crossed-out garbage can indicates that this product is subject to European Directive (EU) 2012/19/EU. This directive states that at the end of its service life, you must not dispose of this product with normal household waste, but hand it in at a government-designated collection point for recycling.
