Wire the device
Connect Wi-Fi
Connect the mobile phone or computer to the Wi-Fi.
Find the Wi-Fi name on the nameplate at the bottom of the device.
Access the management system
Scan the QR code at the bottom of the device or enter farlinkwireless.com to access the device management system. If the device is not connected to a router, enter 192.168.1.100 in the browser.

Common Problems

The AP device cannot access the lnternet? A: If the mobile phone can’t find the WiFi of the AP device, ensure that the AP device is powered on, wait a moment (wait for the AP device to start), and then scan the connection again on the mobile phone. If the indicator is red, and the return signal quality in the status informationon the interface is displayed as “None’; ensure that the network port of the AP device is not loose or in poor contact, and the network cable is normal.

The mobile phone APP cannot recognize the AP device? A: Ensure that the mobile phone is connected to the Wi-Fi signal of the AP device.
A: If there is no Wi-Fi signal, ensure that the AP device is powered on, wait a moment (wait until the AP device is started), and then scan the Wi-Fi signal of the AP device and connect the mobile phone to this Wi-Fi. If the AP device is not connected to a router, ensure that the IP address of the mobile phone or terminal is in the same network segment as the IP address 192. 168.1.100 of the AP device management system, and enter the IP address of the management system in the browser. It is recommended that there are not more than two walls between the AP device and the mobile phone for configuring the AP device. -
How to restore the AP device to the factory setting? A: Connect the AP device to the power supply, wait for a moment (wait until the AP device is started), use a needle to hold down the RESET hole of the AP device for more than five seconds and release the RESET hole after the indicator flashes in red. After restarted, the AP device restores to the factory setting.

Does the AP device support 5G Wi-Fi? How to connect to 5G Wi-Fi? A: In a short period of time, press the WPS keys of the root node AP device and the relay node AP device in turn to start standard WPS negotiation to extend Wi-Fi connection to the relay node AP device, thus expanding signal coverage. It should be noted that when you press the WPS key of the relay node to associate the relay node to the root node for the first time, the indicator of the relay node flashes quickly for a period of time, and turns into red for a few seconds and then into green. This indicates that the connection is successful. If the indicator remains in red after a period of time, press the WPS key again to perform pairing.

A: When the FRL-WSA AP device is powered on, press the WPS keys of the AP device and otherWi-Fi devices in turn within one minute to start standard WPS negotiation to connect other Wi-Fi devices to the Wi-Fi network of the AP device.

How to know the network topology and signal connection quality in the case of mesh networking of multiple devices? A: Access the device management system with a mobile phone or PC. On the device status interface, you can see the topology of multiple devices and the baud rate of connection between the devices. High baud rate means good signal quality.

- Only accessories approved by the device manufacturer can be used. Using other types of accessories violates the warranty terms of the device and the relevant regulations of the country where the device is located, and may cause accidents. To obtain authorized accessories, apply according to after-sales service information.
- The power socket should be installed near the device and easy to access.
- When the AP device is not used, disconnect the power supply from the device and remove the power plug from the power socket.
