Installation of the Nedis SmartLife app

Download the Nedis SmartLife app for Android or iOS on your phone via Google Play or the Apple App Store.
Open the Nedis SmartLife app on your phone.
Create an account with your mobile phone number or your e-mail address and tap Continue.
Enter the received verification code.
Create a password and tap Done.
Tap Add Home to create a SmartLife Home.
Set your location, choose the rooms you want to connect with, and tap Done.

Installing the product

Screw the lamp into an E14 fitting.
Turn on the lamp.
In the Nedis SmartLife app, tap + B3.
Under Search Device, select the lamp from the list of available devices.
Check if the lamp is blinking. If so, tap to confirm. If not, turn the lamp off and on 3 times and check again.
Enter the password of the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network to which your phone is connected and tap Confirm. The Nedis SmartLife app will search for the lamp.
Rename the lamp after it has been found and added. If the regular connection method fails, use AP mode following the steps in the application.

Using the product

The product can be controlled from any distance using the Nedis SmartLife app. The home menu of the Nedis SmartLife app shows a control tile for each connected lamp and/or group.
The product can be connected to Google Home or Amazon Alexa for speech control. It can also be connected to IFTTT to enable external conditions to trigger the lamp.

Q: Can I use this bulb outdoors?

A: Yes, the product is intended for lighting both indoor and outdoor environments.

Q: How do I reset the bulb?

A: To reset, turn the lamp off and on three times and follow the setup process again in the app.

Q: Can I manually change the light color and brightness?

A: Yes, you can adjust the light color and brightness settings within the Nedis SmartLife app.

If the regular connection method fails, the lamp can be connected using AP mode:
a. Tap + B3.
b. Select the lamp from the list of available devices.
c. Select AP Mode in the top right corner.
d. Turn the lamp off and on 3 times and check that the light starts blinking slowly.
e. Follow the steps in the application.

The product can be connected to Google Home or Amazon Alexa to enable speech control.
The product can be connected to IFTTT to enable external conditions to trigger the lamp.
