Product Usage Instructions
- Before use, check the device for any damage. Discard if there are any concerns regarding patient safety.
- Thread the foam straps through the top of the board, under the indent for the limb, and up through the other slot.
- Ensure that the rough area of the hook and loop faces up and away from the baby’s skin when the strap is closed.
- Place the infant in the tray and position the straps close to elbows and knees.
- To close the straps, hold one end of the strap in one hand, press down on the baby’s arm or leg with the back of that hand. Bring the opposite end of the strap across with the other hand and fasten it snugly.
- Discard straps contaminated with blood or other bodily fluids immediately.
- Ensure that the hook and loop fastener is securely fastened before starting the procedure to prevent the baby from wiggling loose.

INDICATIONS FOR USE
For use during circumcision procedures to hold the baby’s limbs to the
circumstraint board. This will help prevent the baby from jerking his limbs
during the procedure.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- NEVER use on a patient
- With a dislocation or fracture on the restrained limb; or
- If an IV or wound site could be compromised by the device.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION Before use, check device for damage. Discard if you have any questions about patient safety.
- Thread the foam straps through the top of the board, under the indent for the limb, and up through the other slot.
- Straps should be threaded through the slots so that rough area of the hook and loop faces up and away from the baby’s skin when the strap is closed.
- Place infant in tray and position straps close to elbows and knees.
- To close straps, hold one end of the strap in one hand, while pressing down on baby’s arm or leg with the back of that hand. Bring the opposite end of the strap across with the other hand and fasten it snugly.
- Discard straps contaminated with blood or other bodily fluids.
NOTE: Make sure hook and loop fastener is firmly secured before beginning procedure. If it is not secure, the baby could wiggle loose and disrupt the procedure.
WARNING
MONITOR PER FACILITY POLICY
Check to ensure that
- Straps cannot slide in any direction or loosen if the patient pulls on them
- Cuffs are properly secured. If applied too tightly, circulation will be restricted; if applied too loosely, the patient may be able to slip his or her limb from the device
- Cuffs are intact, and not torn or damaged. DO NOT allow patients to ingest product material.
- For short-term use only during circumcision procedures.
