FIXTURE MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS

FIXTURE MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS (MASONRY OR HARDSCAPES)

1. Disconnect the transformer from the main power supply.
2. Connect the controller’s input cord with output supply of transformer.
3. You need to figure out lay out of your hardscape project first, then place the controller in the right place.
   • THIS BOX CONTAINS BLUE TOOTH MODULE, PLEASE FIX IT ON OPEN AREA AT LEAST TWO FOOT ABOVE GROUND.
   • WARNING: NEVER PUT IT INTO CASE COVER BY METAL OR CONCRETE. NEVER BURY IT INTO GROUND OR PUT INTO WATER. FRONT SIDE WITH THE CLOUDYBAY LOGO CONTAIN ANTENNA, WHICH SHOULD FACE THE AMBIENT AREA TO RECEIVE SIGNAL PROPERLY!
4. Place the stainless steel mounting bracket between layers of hardscape material.
5. Connect light unit with main power supply wires through low voltage connectors.
   • Black to black and white to white.
6. Please see reference picture below, actual application may vary. Connect the transformer to main power supply.
7. Refer to User Manual and Voice Guideline to set up products.

PLEASE FIX LOW VOLTAGE BLUETOOTH CONTROLLER ON OPEN AREA AND IN THE SAME SIDE OF HUB!
PLEASE CONNECT SPT 2*18AWG OR HIGHER RATE EXTENSION CORD UP TO 200 FOOT WITH MAIN SUPPLY WIRE IF IT IS NOT LONG ENOUGH FOR YOUR APPLICATION. THE ROUGH SIDE CONNECT WITH BLACK WIRE WHILE THE PARAMETER-PRINTED SIDE WITH WHITE WIRE, IN THE SAME METHOD TO CONNECT WITH EACH LIGHT.

1. This swivel light head design allows you to adjust illumination angel from 0 – 180 degree rotation angle is subjected to actual application) please test it at night due to the setting for each project may vary.
2. Make sure your transformer is Non-dimmable and range from 12-15VAC. Voltage drop may affect performance of product, voltage sequence is 15VAC>14VAC>13VAC>12VAC.

Trouble Shooting

1. What gauge wire do I need to use If I use wires to connect controller to the transformer?
   • Please use 12AWG2 wire between the transformer and controller if you connect wire from 20-30 meter, use 14AWG 2 wire from 10-20 meter, 16 AWG*2 wire between 0-10 meter. use multimeter to test input voltage of controller, voltage is from 11VAC to 15VAC for stable performance.
2. What can I do if the existing output wire is not long enough for my application?
   • Please connect SPT-2W 18AWGX2 wire with output wire of controller if 33 feet wire is not long enough for your application, connect stripe black wire with black wire, wire marked with words with white wire.
3. Can I still use these lights when my Wi-Fi network break down?
   • Please open blue tooth on smart phone, stay away less than 50 foot from controller, and establish a connection between phone and controller, then you can use those functions of APP except mobile control and voice control.
4. Where do I plug in the hub if it plays an important role in this system?
   • Please plug the hub into an outlet within a distance 30-50 foot from router so that it can pair with router free of problem and can work stable in long term, at the same, distance between hub and blue tooth controller should be 50 foot -100 foot, and there is not metal or concrete wall, or other known barrier between them.
5. Where can I place the blue tooth controller so that it can pair with hub free of problem?
   • The blue tooth controller contains a blue tooth module integrated with printed antenna, it can receive signal if it is fixed on an open area. So please fix it 24 inch above ground on wall or on pole, and within 50-100 foot from hub.
6. If controller or light unit fails during warranty period, what can I do to solve the problem?
   • First of all, determine problem is from light or or controller, if the controller fails, contact with seller for a controller replacement, then disconnect it from the transformer, and loose connector with output wire, replace controller, repeat pair steps to add it to hub. If light unit fails, get replacement from seller, disconnect with main power supply and reconnect it with new one.
   • In order to minimum labor cost, always place input wire of lights unit into conduit and wire connector is accessible in case your need to renew or replace it later. Repeat this step to connect all light unit with output wire of controller.
7. Can I use 12VDC power supply?
   • This controller only support 12-15VAC. NEVER CONNECT WITH 12V DC POWER SUPPLY, WHICH WILL CAUSE OVER HEAT AND EARLY FAILURE.

2. If there is any problem with our lights for non-human reasons, please contact customer service, we will send you brand new replacement without need to returning goods or full refund.
3. If you are not completely satisfied with product after installation but prefer not to disassemble it, contact with us right away, we will provide comparable compensation.
