SUPERATV WS-P-XPD Xpedition Scratch-Resistant Vented Full Windshield

Product Usage Instructions

Install the Bulb Trim Seal

• The first step is to install the Bulb Trim Seal around the outer perimeter of the Windshield. Start in the middle at the bottom and work your way around to create a neat finish. Cut to fit where the two ends meet.

Install Window Brackets

• Install the four window brackets using the Bracket, Bolt Plate, M5x16 Button Head Bolts, and M5 Nylock Nuts as shown in Fig.2.

Assemble Windshield

• Refer to Fig.3 for the position of the latches and the upper middle Windshield Bracket.

Install Middle Bracket

• Before installing the Middle Bracket, apply a small piece of rubber seal under the catching lip. Use the provided M6x20 Button Head FT Bolt and M6 Nylock Nut to mount it through the windshield.

Attach Windshield Latch Handles

• Attach the Windshield Latch Handles to each bracket using the M6x35 Shoulder Bolts and Nylock Nuts as shown in Fig.5a-b.

Install Latch Brackets

• Remove the Torx Bolt indicated in Fig.6 and replace it with a spacer and a new bolt from your kit on both sides.

Insert Spacer

• Insert Spacer Item F into the hole from which the Torx bolt was removed as shown in Fig.7.

Mount Windshield Latch Brackets

• Mount the Windshield Latch Brackets using the M8x25 Button Head and Washer provided in your kit as shown in Fig.8.

Install Upper Latch Brackets

• Mount the upper latch brackets using Items B and G from your kit to secure them to the frame. Then install Item C through the bracket and secure it with Nylock Nut Item D as shown in Fig.9a-b.

FAQ

Q: How do I adjust the latch brackets?

A: To adjust the latch brackets, loosen the bolts slightly and reposition them before tightening them back securely.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

1. The first thing you need to do is install the Bulb Trim Seal all around the outer perimeter of the Windshield. Star in the middle of the Windshield at the Bottom, pushing it onto the edge and working it around to where you started.
   • Then cut to trim so that the two ends meet and look neat. See Fig.1.
2. Now install the four (4) window brackets that are part of your latch kit. You will be installing it using the Bracket, a small Bolt Plate, (2) M5x16 Button Head Bolts, and (2) M5 Nylock Nuts as shown in Fig.2.
   • Fig.2 also shows how they are installed onto the window.
3. Fig.3 shows the Windshield Fully assembled and the position of the four latches and where they are positioned as well as the upper middle Windshield Bracket.
4. Now you can install the Middle Bracket, but the first thing you need to do to the bracket is install the small piece of rubber seal up under the catching lip of the bracket. See Fig.4.
   • Then install the M6x20 Button Head FT Bolt, Item” E”, and the M6 Nylock Nut, Item” D”. These mount thru the windshield as you can see in the upper half of Fig.4.
5. Next, install the Windshield lift handles to each of the four brackets using the M6x35 Shoulder Bolts and the Nylock Nuts that came with the Hinges. See Fig.5a-b.
6. Now you need to install the Latch Brackets for the Windshield to latch onto. Fig.6 shows the Torx Bolt you need to remove. You will be using a spacer and a new bolt from your kit to install the bracket in this location on both the Driver’s and Passenger’s sides.
7. Next, find the Spacer, Item” F” in your kit, and insert it into the hole the Torx bolt came out of as shown in Fig.7.
8. Then find the Windshield Latch Brackets in your kit, and you will mount them using the M8x25 Button Head, Item” B” and M8 Washer, Item” G” in your kit. See Fig.8.
9. Once the bottom brackets are on, now you can install the two upper latch brackets. You mount the bracket using the existing hole in the framing as shown in Fig.9a.
   • Install the bracket using
   • Item“B” and Items “G” from your kit to secure it to the frame.
   • Then install the Shoulder Bolt, Item“C”, through the bracket, and secure it to the bracket using Nylock Nut Item “D” provided in your kit. See Fig.9b.
10. After the latch brackets are installed, you can now place the Windshield up into place clamping all four of the clamps to secure it to the vehicle.
    • NOTE: when placing the Windshield, be sure that the top middle latch with the small rubber pad on it hooks onto the frame before you lock the bottom latches so that the latches have something to pull against See Fig.10.
