The Darlana Medium Two Tier Chandelier, item # CHC 5878, is a light fixture that provides elegant lighting for various spaces. Product Usage Instructions
- Carefully remove all parts from the box and place them on a clean, soft surface.
- Install the mounting plate (B) to the junction box using the provided mounting screws (C).
- Secure the collar loop (D) to the mounting plate (B) by tightening the locknut with pliers
- Attach the canopy (E) to the collar loop (D) and secure it with the collar ring (F).
- Determine the desired overall length and amount of chain (H) needed. Use chain pliers to shorten the chain if necessary.
- Attach the chains (K) to the fixture loop (I) and the top fixture frame (L) using hooks (J).
- Attach the chain (H) to the collar loop (D) and the fixture loop (I) using quick links (G). Make sure to secure the quick links.
- Attach the chains (M) to the loop on the top fixture frame (L) and the loop on the bottom fixture frame (N) using hooks (J).
- Thread the fixture wire and ground wire through the chains (M & K), fixture loop (I), and chain (H). When reaching the collar loop (D), ensure there is no tension on the wires. Cut any excess wires, leaving enough to reach the junction box.
- Separate the two sides of the molded wire and strip insulation on each side by approximately 5/8 inch.
- Loosen the collar ring (F) and carefully let the canopy (E) slip down the chain (H).
- Twist all fixture wires together and slip them through the center hole of the collar loop (D). Untwist the wires and separate them in preparation for connection.
- Wrap the fixture ground wire (bare copper) around the green grounding screw according to Diagram 1. Tighten it securely. Continue the fixture ground wire and connect it to the supply ground wire (usually green or bare copper) using a wire nut (A). It is essential to ensure proper grounding of the fixture.
- Connect the fixture neutral wire (ribbed) to the supply neutral wire (usually white) using a wire nut (A).
- Connect the fixture hot wire (smooth with markings) to the supply hot wire (usually black) using a wire nut (A). Be cautious not to reverse the hot and neutral connections.
- Ensure all wire connections are tight and carefully tuck them into the junction box.
- Install the canopy (E) to the collar loop (D) and secure it with the collar ring (F).
- Install light bulbs into the sockets. Please note that bulbs are not included with the chandelier.
NOTICE
This light fixture should be installed in accordance with all applicable,
local installation codes, and by a person familiar with the construction and
operation of it, as well as the hazards involved. Inspect item and contents
carefully. If any damage or defect is found, do not install. Retain all
packaging material until installation is complete and approved.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Carefully remove all parts from the box. Place on a clean, soft surface.

Install mounting plate (B) to the junction box and secure with mounting screws (C).

Secure collar loop (D) to mounting plate (B) using pliers to tighten locknut.

Install canopy (E) to collar loop (D) and secure with collar ring (F).

Determine desired overall length, and amount of chain (H) needed. Shorten chain using chain pliers. (Keep extra chain)

Attach chains (K) to fixture loop (I) and top fixture frame (L) using hooks (J).

Attach chain (H) to collar loop (D) and fixture loop (I) using quick links (G). Secure quick links (G).

Attach chains (M) to loop on top fixture frame (L) and loop on bottom fixture frame (N) using hooks (J).

Thread fixture wire and ground wire through chains (M & K ), fixture loop (I) and chain (H).
NOTE: When you reach the collar loop (D), ensure there is no tension on the wires. Cut excess wires, being sure to leave enough to reach the junction box. -
Separate two sides of molded wire, and strip insulation on each 5/8″.

NOTE: It is imperative that the fixture is grounded. -
Connect fixture neutral wire (ribbed) to the supply neutral wire (usually white) using wire nut (A).

Connect fixture hot wire (smooth with markings) to the supply hot wire (usually black) using wire nut (A).
CAUTION: Do not reverse the hot and neutral connections. -
Make sure all wire connections are tight, then carefully tuck into the junction box.

Install canopy (E) to collar loop (D) and secure with collar ring (F).

Install light bulbs into the sockets.
Care Instructions: Clean only with a soft dry cloth or feather duster. Do Not use abrasive or chemical agents.
